yes this place has change within the last 3mos. and it's sad to say that. I wish we can get someone who really care about our kids. and the way things has change is sad the kids don't really go on field trips and no high school kids are really attending. it's going down really really bad and someone higher up needs to look into this matter. if I could I would give it a -1 star. management is at it's worst. we miss Mr. Strong
The camp has totally changed within the past few months, with change of administration. The new executive director does not communicate with any parents at all and I saw that today. I am so mad. Cancelation of field trips at the last minute that are paid for. Taking our money. Paid and got no words that it was canceled. She left for the day. Barely communicates with staff , staff want to take care and take the kids places. The children have not been anywhere. She does not communicate with the kids & has no experience with working with kids. As someone who has been working and have a degree with kids, communication is important. The field trip is paid and we are not allowed to get the money back . She said it's non refundable. My kids used to love this place ,but since she started ...they barely want to go. Some changes need to be made.
The new executive director isn’t friendly at all. She doesn’t interact with the children or the parents/ guardians for that matter! I came in to pick my brother up & she just redirected me to someone else. I HAD TO SPEAK TO HER FIRST MIND YOU. no passion for her job what so ever smh. even my brother has told me that he feels like she doesn’t like the kids due to the lack of interaction. if you’re going to hire someone in youth administration, please make sure that they like kids enough to like their job. PLEASE BRING BACK MR STRONG
Just opposite my children's Head start school and very nice and environmentally situated for learning.
