What Parents Say
BCGC is highly praised by parents for its exceptional staff, Spanish language immersion program, and nurturing community atmosphere. Parents consistently highlight the quality of care, healthy organic meals, and developmental focus on individual children. Multiple families report their children are excited to attend and well-prepared for kindergarten.
Both of our children have attended BCGC since they were 6 weeks old and we cannot say enough about how the Center has helped shape them as individuals and future members of a global community. We love the commitment to healthy eating, language immersion, positive discipline, and play based learning. If you are considering a daycare in Bloomington, this is an amazing one!
The teachers at Bloomington Center for Global Children (BCGC) are truly exceptional; they are not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly caring and nurturing. Their dedication to each child's individual needs and development is evident daily. What stands out the most, however, is the sense of community they've fostered. Every child and parent is welcomed with open arms, creating a warm, family-like atmosphere that is both comforting and inclusive. We love that BCGC promotes an environment of understanding, respect, and cultural enrichment.
Our family could not be happier with our BCGC experience. Our child who graduated BCGC pre-K has demonstrated excellent preparedness during her first year of public school in kindergarten. We have 3 additional children still at BCGC and we can't speak highly enough about the nurturing environment they are subjected to daily. Spanish immersion was important to us, but the quality of the care is what has kept us coming back. Our children look forward to school each day and as parents we know that they are in a safe, positive environment. Also, all of our kids love the food and come home raving about what they have eaten.
Our daughter has been here for over 8 months now and we love the community feel at BCGC. We know she is in good hands when we drop her off. A few things that we love specifically: 1. The food they serve is healthy and diverse. 2. The teachers speak Spanish in the classroom which has led us to learn more Spanish. 3. You walk directly by the directors office to pick up your child. This has helped foster a connection between our family and the director and assistant director. 4. The community vibe. We have loved getting to know all of the parents and staff at the school. Sending your child to daycare is hard, but BCGC has made it a really positive experience for us.
My son LOVES it at BCGC. The teachers are fantastic, the food is healthy, and he is learning Spanish. He is genuinely excited to get in the car in the morning to go to daycare, and when he sees his teacher he runs up to her and gives her a hug.
