Big Sky Preschool INC.

It’s taken me some time to get around to this but wanted to make sure I did this before the new year begins. When I came to Big Sky Preschool it was owned and operated by different people and in the time I was there is was sold to the now owners. Prior to the sale Big Sky was a dream, as soon as the transition to new owners began things immediately started to change despite being promised they wouldn’t. To start this school has slapped the name Montessori on their name but are not actually accredited. Second they lied to parents and withheld to let parents know about construction that was occurring on property while class was in session. Be sure to research the school as they have a a type B citation because of the way they chose to handle the upgrades to the space. Furthermore this school chose to terminate the care of my child because I was vocalizing my concerns and questions and the owners refused to ever meet with parents. Lastly, they terminated her care on a Monday upon arrival, I had no back up for work it was very traumatizing for us all. The owners sent an email at 1am to the “Director” Lucita, whom also is known to yell at students and be the least gentle if you ask me, whine then just printed the email out to me and handed it to me with my stuff. The email claim I made baseless claims about the school. Obviously not so baseless since they were cited for putting the kids at risk with the construction that took place there. If you are looking for a play based school that actually cares and isn’t cold and clinical like this school Che k out You’re Invited. They are amazing and took me in during this traumatic experience.

Big Sky Preschool is amazing! The teachers are caring and loving. I can honestly say they are the best. I researched a lot of schools in the area and for the price and level of education, no one else compares. The structure and activities they provide are great. The teachers send pictures of my son throughout the day and that is always a bonus! My son has been attending for almost 3 years and he is thriving. We couldn’t be happier. I always recommend Big Sky Preschool!

Big Sky Preschool is wonderful! My son loves it! His teachers are great and caring. It’s been amazing to see how much my son has learned and grown while attending this preschool. It means the world to me to be able to go to work without worrying because I knew he was in great hands. Getting updates and pictures throughout the day was super nice too.

I have my daughter on her second year here. She'll be turning 4 in 2015. She absolutely loves it! Our favorite teachers have to be Ms. Liza, Ms. Lizbeth, and Ms. Tammy. They have so much patience and interest in the kids. A kind heart like theirs can never be taught through the highest education. Lovett's can definitely provide their children with an amazing staff. Not to leave the others out! I hear great things about ALL the teachers! And the staff is amazing! (Dennis, Cindy, Debbie, Linda) everyone has a kind, giving and contagious attitude. :) They follow up with the parents every 90 days (i think) to show the parents how they've improved. Its delegated by the state of CA, so they have a lot of protocol to follow, and the state helps fund them, So this will be different than riverside districts school. Us parents were so lucky this year!... Lovett's was funded enough so that our monthly cost was reduced significantly! (of course based on income). My $2 a day dropped to $0. They are very GREEN, keeping the environment safe and in their daily talks. They recycle, their foods have little to no sugar, they pull out of their garden for snacks and every Friday the kids prep their own food. Not to mention their always trying to get the parents involved or teach them how to handle any sort of situation a parent may be troubled with. And I've already seen a variety of different culture backgrounds here. :) My favorite thing about this school is not only how understanding they are with my daughter and any circumstance we fall upon, but I can stay there as long as I want, I can pop in and out if I want and they request that I get involved. (even though my schedule sometimes does not allow, watching how my child interacts in school allows me to know what activities my child should or should not be doing at home). Even more, I know when I take her to kindergarten she already knows what to expect, she knows that some kids will cry, (as she did that first year), and her and I are already working on the "drop offs"... mommy will not be able to hang out when you get to school. ( i could be wrong, but I was told in the district kindergarten you can't go into the class every morning.) Overall, I'm very grateful to that parent that referred me. :)

Mrs. Justina is a great teacher! very involved with the kids, and her teaching ability is awesome . The staff as well are very welcoming , Debbie at the front desk really is a warm hearted individual. i always feel safe and reasurred leaving my son at this facility. when i go to pick him up he is out playing in the playground . and may i say it is very GREEEN!! gives it a warm nature feel.
