Youthland Academy

First of All , When my son started : They were giving him 1 little pouch of baby food for 9 hours. That’s all they ever documented on the chart. They claimed to have given him more food but “Forgot to write it down”. Everyday. I even sent food with him and he would return with everything I had sent. My son is on Soy formula because he is allergic to dairy. I provided them the formula. One day they said he wasn’t drinking his bottles and was having upset stomach , vomiting and the runs - which is weird because he was fine upon drop off. I got him and took him home and he projectile vomited for so long he was turning blue and was having GREY bowel movements. I took him to The ER and had to sit there for 9 hours while he was monitored for having an allergic reaction to DAIRY and was told that GREY BOWEL movements are caused from a basically milk only diet and that he was having trouble digesting it and not getting enough nutrients - obvious because he is allergic ! This place is a JOKE. Every time I walked in the babies noses were always running and my son caught an upper respiratory infection his 1st week there and brought it home to his big brother ! I should’ve followed my gut when I showed up to enroll my baby and they wouldn’t give me a tour upon walking in , I had to schedule one probably so they had time to make it look good. SMH. Who could do such a thing to a 10 month old ? It’s really heart breaking ! Then not to mention I sent him in there with white socks one day and he came home with dirty brown socks. . Definitely not the place you’d want to care for your innocent baby. The workers in the infant area are there for the money not the love of kids.

My son has been going to youthland about 2 years now, and the staff has always been kind to me and the children. They will help you out time wise if you run into an issue say at work as well. The director Mrs.Pam is a blessing she is a great person and does a wonderful job!

My daughter has been with them almost a year and she loves it! She was in baby room until she was a year old and now she's in the one's room and they help with her mile stones for her age group! They really try to get parents involved with holiday's and special occasions! They also keep me updated on how everything is going with my daughter by sending emails and pictures they take! They are all so caring and I wouldn't change or take my kids out of this daycare unless I absolutely had to! Keep up the great job everyone 😊

My daughter started at youthland this August. I was previously a stay at home mom so I was nervous about how she would handle the transition. The staff at youthland really took the time to make the transition as smooth as possible for us! She is always smiling and happy when I pick her up, and she loves to go to daycare! I’ve never had an issue with any of the employees. I can trust my daughter is safe while I’m at work. Nick has been a great help with reassurance and clear communication. He’s prompt to answer any questions or concerns I have!

This is a wonderful childcare facility. The staff is very friendly. Ms. Lori in preschool 1 is by far one of the best teachers. My daughter is shy and Ms. Lori made her feel very comfortable when she first started. Now my daughter even talks about Ms. Lori and asks if it's Monday yet. She has learned a lot the time she has been here and she's opening up a lot more. I would highly recommend this facility. I am an early childhood education major and this place really is great and they work with your child and their specific needs.
