Big Blue Bird Early Childhood Center

my daughter started in this center at 12 weeks old. Miss Paula has been the best and made the transition easier and helped my anxiety! everyone in the center is friendly and they all know my daughter and always talk to her when they see her. I would recommend the center to family and friends. I know childcare centers can be scary but we've had a really great experience here!

When my husband and I began the process of choosing a daycare for our son it was very important to us that our son would be more than a number/more than a client. We wanted our son to be at a place where he was loved, valued, cherished, and truly known. When we toured Big Blue Bird, it was evident that this was a place where that could happen. One thing that stood out about the staff at Big Blue Bird in that tour was how they showed they truly cared for the kids enrolled there. We loved the way we saw the infants being held and rocked, the staff in the crawler room who were down on the floor interacting with the babies. We loved how the toddler rooms were filled with exciting and engaging activities for the kids, and how the preschool kids were engaged in hands on learning with their teachers. I cannot speak highly enough of our son’s time at Big Blue Bird. He was enrolled from the time he was 10 weeks old until he started Kindergarten. Throughout the 6 years he was at Big Blue Bird he was loved, cherished, valued, seen, and respected by each teacher and staff member he interacted with in a daily basis. As a parent, my husband and I appreciate this more than anything. As a parent, we also liked the fact that there was not a high teacher or student turn over ratio. Both staff and students were consistent and this made for a warm and inviting environment. Teachers and staff did a wonderful job of communicating about daily activities and specials events. Our son was sad when he had to enroll in Kindergarten and was no longer able to go to Big Blue Bird daily. He still talks about the friendships, fond memories, the staff, the playground, and what he describes as the best school breakfast and lunch ever. And as parent, you could not ask for anything more from your choice of childcare for your most loved treasure.

This child care center is amazing! The staff is great and it has hand painted murals throughout that are adorable and cheerful. The rooms are filled with activities and smiles. The office staff is very professional and caring. Excellent customer service and care for your most treasured gift, the children. They are our future , and I choose Big Blue Bird for my family.

I'm the sister of a little one who goes to this daycare, and l've seen firsthand how much they care about the kids. My sibling is always excited to go in the morning and comes home talking about all the fun activities they did and the friends they made. The staff are so friendly and patient, and they make the kids feel safe and loved. I've noticed such a positive change in my sibling since starting here-more confidence, better social skills, and lots of smiles! If you're looking for a daycare that truly goes above and beyond, this is the one. Highly recommend!

My son has been at BBB for quite a few years now. I have absolutely zero complaints! The staff goes above and beyond to meet his needs. They always communicate clearly with parents. Stephanie has been my child’s teacher for a few years now and is amazing and always so kind and ready to do whatever it is to make parents feel more at ease when leaving their child. Definitely recommend BBB to anyone.
