As a parent, I am absolutely thrilled with Bellevue Community Center. It has provided a safe and nurturing space for my kids to access programs that helped them excel and develop leadership skills. These skills have even led them to land jobs that truly suit them. My youngest son said, "Being in this space lit a spark inside of me," and hearing those words brought me to tears. As a mother, all you want is for your children to find themselves in a safe environment that helps them grow into the best version of themselves. I am so grateful to Bellevue Community Center for empowering my kids and providing them with such meaningful opportunities.
My grandsons have been attending BCC for many years. I can’t say enough about the facility and how happy they’ve been during the school year and during summer camp. The teachers are very dedicated and caring towards the children. And the facility itself is top-notch. They are learning and experiencing important things like gardening, etc. My only complaint would be that they can’t stay through high school! What a great facility!
I can't say enough good things about this place! They take such great care of my niece, and I always feel confident leaving her in their hands. Ms. Kay, in particular, is an excellent teacher. She's incredibly patient, nurturing, and truly dedicated to the kids' growth and development. My niece has learned so much and always looks forward to going there. Highly recommend!
My son was attending this childcare center for four months before abruptly being removed last week once I started to ask questions regarding him often “falling”, being called to go home without showing symptoms, and in their words, showing “self-injurious” behaviors. While I first thought the center was beautiful by appearance, I later learned that the child care director, Miss Meg shown to be very dismissive and did not have, what I thought, was the best interest for my nonverbal son. During a brief meeting I asked questions regarding him being harmed or conducting self-harm behaviors and if he was being properly treated, cared for, and watched. In no shape or form was I disrespectful, unprofessional, or even projected my energy in a way that was ill-mannered, however; I was sent an email later that evening stating that we could basically no longer continue services due to me using “derogatory language” during our brief conversation and that his stuff would be ready Monday morning in the main office. In my thorough opinion, if you are going to send your child here, please go to the fullest extent to conduct your research on the facility, as I have learned that many parents I have spoken to regarding my situation have similar experiences or common issues with BCC. I have also recently learned that this is not uncommon behavior at the child care facility as neglect, abuse, and emotional distress has all taken place at BCC before. I wish you all the best.
