Beginnings Preschool At Good News United Methodist Church

Visited this Resurrection Sunday for the 8am service! I am here working at Emerald Coast Theatre Company and wanted a church to attend while I'm in a new and unfamiliar place! Saw the church as I was driving and wandered in! I've never visited a church that made me feel so welcome and comfortable! Smiling faces, handshakes, hugs, and warm greetings! The entire congregation treated me like I'd been a member for years! Wonderful sermon and incredible worship service! Because of my career, I'm rarely able to attend church services on Sundays and usually have to opt for streaming. It's been MONTHS since I've been into a church and I truly thank God for leading me to this one! What a wonderful welcome back into the House of The Lord!

I got a leak in my tire and rode until I couldn’t go any further, and it just so happened I stopped at this church. While I was there on a weekend afternoon the parking lot out front was vacant. I pulled up to the sign, which I found encouraging. While I got the jack out, the spare out, was working on lug nuts and the tire, trying to discern where the jack needed to be underneath, a man named Phil pulled up and checked on me. He said he went here, and just wanted to make sure I was alright. I was feeling like the Ethiopian and Phillip just showed up when I needed a word from GOD. He blessed me, and shortly after he left, I figured out what I could not figure out before which was where to put the jack. I got the tire off and new tire on and another man with his family pulled up, said he was on staff, worked for facilities, was just driving by and came to check on me, he blessed me too. All that is to say this is a good place. They are sharing the good news in deed and word. Bless them LORD. Bless the LORD. King Jesus reigns here. And Holy Spirit is working. Praise GOD, the FATHER. I had a good experience. And went on my way encouraged.

Great facility and very nice staff. Beware in sending your children for care/ school, as they will evaluate them daily and without warning expel them due to not fitting into their mold of ideal children. We never received a warning, nor any indication he was misbehaving or otherwise. Always received glowing reviews at the end of each day. Just simply called in one day and said he’s no longer welcome. Based on their own evaluations, despite the fact what licensed professionals and experts stated otherwise. Absolutely shameful.

Our family has been incredibly blessed by what God is doing in this Church. We have an amazing community and people to do life with. I have 4 kids, all of them look forward to and enjoy anything they can participate in, and there is a lot going on for kids! My kids are truly growing in there faith and understanding of who God is and His love for them. I love the mulitgenerational environment at this church. People and families of all ages are worshipping here. I am honored to be a part of this Church and look forward to all that God is doing here. Check it out!
