From the minute my husband and I walked into Beginners World Daycare without a doubt we knew it was the right choice for our son. Being a new mom I was very apprehensive when choosing something as important as a daycare knowing I couldn't be home with him myself. Karen gave us a tour and was so understanding making me feel at complete ease and has continued to since day one. Our son started when he was 3 months old in the baby room, where we couldn't have been happier with his care, which has continued as he advanced to the toddler room. The staff has always treated him like their own and shared the joys in our "firsts" as parents. Beginners World does a great job on communicating our sons daily activities. We look forward to reading Miss Jordan's personalized daily comments about him. We love the schedule that they follow to incorporate learning, creativity, discipline in a fun loving environment. I truly feel like we have a great partnership in our sons growth.
As a grandmother who has been out of the "Day Care/ Pre School" game for 20 years, I was honestly terrified to tour facilities for my 3 year old granddaughter I am now raising. When I walked inside Beginner's World, it fit. This is not the newest, fanciest place out there, but it has exceptional staff. Witnessing how the staff problem solved issues with the children with love and care; showing how much they invest helped me feel very comfortable with leaving my granddaughter in their care. I recommend this establishment to anyone who has a need for child care.
After having our second child, we needed to find an affordable childcare option without sacrificing quality care. The quaint facilities and caring staff at Beginner’s World have proven to be a great fit for our family. A few of the things we especially like are: - Ownership is hands-on and knows and cares about each child. Every question and concern is immediately addressed. - At drop off, the teachers help make the transition easy for parents and kids. - There are daily activities, schedules and routines. My infant does art projects and my preschooler does crafts, circle time, worksheets, celebrates holidays, etc. - The teachers communicate very well with parents about how the children do during the day. We greatly appreciate having peace of mind that our children are well taken care of every day!
So, so much better than our last daycare....we have a daughter in the infant room and the women that work with the kids LOVE the kids which makes a huge difference. The development she's had there has been fantastic, not to mention the big difference in her attitude and energy since going here. I've come in sometimes to pick her up early and they've always been in the playroom playing with the kids and having a good time. For the quality of care and the price you can't beat it. The owner, Diane, is very nice and loves her job as do all the ladies in the infant room...Miss Carla, Jodie, and Caitlin. Huge thumbs up from us.
My son attends Beginner's World and we are so happy with him being there. I attended there as a child and it was a no brainer when we had our son on where we wanted to send him. It's hard having to leave my child to go to work, but they make our lives easier. I trust them wholeheartedly and I know that my little boy is very well loved and taken care of! They are very normal and down to earth which is just how my husband and I are. They have become such a huge part of our lives and we do not know what we would do without them! Our son just turned 1 and since starting there when he was 8 months old, he has become so much more social and vocal. He isn't afraid of strangers and he shows such an interest in other kids and different activities. I know that Beginner's World is the reason for this. I am a teacher so when I go to work, my son spends his day with them and they love him as one of their own. He comes home happy which reassures me that they are taking such good care of him. Every morning when we walk in, the staff is always pleasant and greets both of us and he gets so excited. Even staff in the older rooms that we don't directly work with yet go out of their way to say good morning to us. My husband is usually the lucky one who gets to pick him up, but on the rare occasion that I do, my son is always attended to when I walk in unexpectedly! I have never witnessed any child unattended or left to themselves. Even when babies are in the play area, there's an adult in there playing with them. My son goes right to his daycare teachers without hesitation so obviously he loves them! I always see the staff interacting with the students and the kids really seem to love being there. The center is always warm and welcoming and kid friendly. The security is great and I love that I have to type in a code even just to get in the door. The peace of mind of having the fire station and police station right across the street is also a plus. As a teacher myself, I know how hard and exhausting it can be to work with kids all day, but the staff at Beginner's World never complains. These wonderful people have dedicated their lives to these children and their love for them really shines through! We love you, Beginner's World! Never stop doing what you are doing!!! :)
