Teacher Kathy is verbally abusive with parents and children, she attempted to lunge at a child in front of the parent, to discipline the child for crying. She also demanded that the mother not say goodbye to her own child by “giving a high 5 or fist bump” She tried to tell parent twice that her son has Autism but pediatrician said absolutely not. She was cursing and yelling in front of children.

I have debated posting this for months. My son started attending this daycare in March of 2022, he was 9 months old. He went only 3 days a week, I chose this daycare because I passed it on my way to work and thought it would be perfect. My son didn’t even attend this daycare for two months before he was kicked out. He was kicked out for chewing on the cribs (he’s a teething baby, what do you expect?) and not willing to take a nap at nap time. Apparently two staff members were threatening to quit if my son was not kicked out. They were threatening to quit because they couldn’t eat their lunch at a specific time because my son was not willing to nap at a specific time. I really hope those two specific employees don’t have children of their own at home. If you can’t handle my kid you probably can’t handle your own. Sometimes I don’t get to eat lunch at home, or work, or when I go out but I don’t threaten to quit my job, life, or son? You chose to work at a daycare. Kathy also decided to rip my son out of my hands one morning because “it’s better to do it quick”. No. I’m his parent. I will baby him if I want to. If I am not ready to say goodbye to my baby who is starting his FIRST daycare, then I will take my time. Would NEVER recommend this daycare to anyone. Found a new daycare that my son started two weeks ago, I’m paying the less for five days than I did for the three days he attended here.
