Considering that this is a school for early intervention, for children with a range of needs, the students only go 2.5 hours 2 days a week, and with the amount of breaks they have, it's less than 60 2.5 hour days per year. The children who need these services need more structure and routine, and the earlier they start,the more chance they have of not needing as many services later in life. This program does the bare minimum, the teachers are extremely poor with communication with parents, send home the wrong forms which violates the families privacy, and that's if you're lucky to even get a daily report. We have been having an extremely difficult time with this specific building, because the staff is not capable of communicating, as mentioned. Half of the daily reports look like they were written by teachers/ aides/ whoever, that haven't passed 4th grade spelling.
