What Parents Say
Bayside Baptist Church's preschool and childcare services receive consistently high praise from parents. Reviewers highlight the welcoming and caring staff, biblically sound teaching, and strong sense of community. The facility offers convenient childcare during services along with various family-oriented programs and activities.
We found this church through the preschool my child attends, and I am so grateful we did. Pastor John is incredibly friendly and approachable, and the entire staff feels genuine and welcoming. Karen, the youth and women’s ministry director, remembered me after just one visit. She kindly reached out and personally invited me to the moms group, which meant so much. That kind of intentional care says a lot about this church community. I also really appreciate that they offer childcare during services, which makes attending so much easier for families. Every person I’ve met has been warm and welcoming. The church is biblically sound, and I love the mix of ages, from young families to older members. The coffee hour between services is such a thoughtful touch and a wonderful way to connect with others. They also host Wednesday night dinners, Bible studies, and youth groups. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a church home, interested in learning more about who God is, or even if you’re just looking for community.
The most unfriendliest pastor I’ve ever encountered. Never bothered to see my mother while she was in the hospital and who passed away last year. She was a member of the church for 20 years and he never once came to visit her while hospitalized. Also never reached out to my dad after she passed to check in with him. These were members of the church for 25 years! Very much only interested in the money you tithe. I’m disgusted he calls himself a man of God.
Politics from the Pulpit: the worm eating the US churches. Within 30 minutes the speaker (pretty sure he was a guest because there is no way he has any formal religious education) hit every Fox News talking point within 30 mins. Far right only welcome. If you don’t think that morality can be legislated but must be won in the hearts and minds of individuals, that our neighbors are not our enemies, or that God doesn’t care about a line in the sand where someone was born, this may not be the place for you. If you want to be politically validated and be told that checking a box on the ballot makes you a real Christian, then this may be your place. Depends on your perspective. For me, 3 stars, lukewarm.
I went there last September in dire straits. Filled out the forms per their policy, and never heard a word. Not one WORD even in prayer, just like it was never mentioned in Deut 14:29. I didn't even merit response.
Clear, biblicaly sound preaching and well-run ministries to serve the congregation and community...
