Baby Cottage

Did ok by my first kid. Failed my second kid to help control and manage his behavior, then kicked him out last year. We had professionals come and evaluate him there and at home. Even sees a therapist currently. None of the behaviors were as bad as they claimed if someone was watching him. Also, at the pricepoint, bad photocopies with incomplete info is not an update for my kids day, they failed to modernize in any way. Payment, communication, paperwork, etc.

The Baby Cottage has been a godsend for our infant daughter. She was a mere 4 months old when she started, and as new parents, my husband and I were inherently concerned about her development and quality of life overall. Each day we pick her up at Baby Cottage, she has an illuminating smile. The staff is extremely professional, kind, and very much engaged with each child. Everyday we receive a detailed hand-written report-out on her progress, which I have a great deal of respect for personally. As parents, we also value that Baby Cottage has no TVs, as we've heard stories where daycares simply use television as a device to distract/calm the children vs. actually interacting with them. Not to mention, they supply all diapers, formula, and food for the children. You cannot find a better situation than this. I highly recommend The Baby Cottage to any parent whether your child is an infant or toddler.

From personal experience they treat their staff absolutely disgusting. Not only Ann and Tanya but the owner as well. If it wasn’t for their staff they would not be open. They have left teachers with more kids than allowed and are very disrespectful. All smiles until a parent does something they don’t like. Would not recommend.

Kind, attentive, and caring. The staff at The Baby Cottage truly care about my child’s development and safety. Would recommend for new and current parents.

Worst place to send your kids. U get what you pay for. My child had 8 incidents in one year. DCF should close this place down!!
