Ms. Heather, the director, has cared and supported my child's growth since day one. When you walk in, you can feel the loving atmosphere and the care for all children. The place is always clean and setup with fun toys and lots of natural light - it is a total kid paradise. Plus, there is a fun and secure playground for extra natural light. The teachers are pros. From planning educational lessons to ensuring sunscreen is applied, they have it covered. Learning is a blast here, with activities that help our child grow both smart and social. We are always in the loop if our kid isn't feeling well or having a bad day. We now have two children at Avant Garde and are elated that they are not only being cared for, they're having a blast growing up together.
Both of our daughters have attended the Brookside and Sheridan locations. We absolutely love the staff and the small cozy environment. Our daughters love their teachers, so much so that we have the babysit for us! I truly feel like they treat my daughter like family. The director is very organized and on top of the center, and the staff seems to be very happy and thriving under her direction.
Cannot say enough good things about Avant Garde. We now have two children here, and are quick to recommend them to anyone wanting an EXCELLENT childcare option. They've been flexible to work with allergies, are incredibly patient and loving to the kids (our son's teacher is so beloved by our family she is our go-to babysitter), are overall so wonderful them; our toddler is always excited to hear that it's a "school day!" We have no stress when we leave our kids with them, and we couldn't imagine having them anywhere else.
