What Parents Say
Note: This facility appears to be a homeless shelter/transitional housing program, not a daycare center. Reviews are mixed, with many praising the supportive staff, life skills programs, and success in helping residents rebuild their lives. However, some residents cite strict rules, lack of flexibility for work/childcare, and concerns about the program's approach.
They literally abused my one year old baby day one of being in there childcare and they have multiple complaints of abuse and similar situations it was a year ago and it stil haunts me that “godly” ppl can abuse Innocent children and no one was fired and they acted like they didn’t know why my child had a massive knot on his head not just a regular knot and the lady at restoration house would refuse to feed my baby who was of age to eat solids bc she thought I was trying to be greedy but it’s like why are you being stingy with food that’s not yours and the kitchen staff takes all the good food home and feed the residents old food and fruit and when ppl donate things they hide it in the break room soke ladies came to do hair and donated the hair and they made everyone return it they are extremely evil ppl and the program makes no sense … if you’re in school or have a job and just need help run far bc they gone make you wait 5 months to possibly get a regular private room then maybe give you 1-3 months to work my experience was terrible they such a joke they had an entrepreneur come in and pretend like she was a prophet who can speak in tongues over ppls business ideas….incoukd write a book

I was sent here from the gateway center the yr of 2012 of March when I came back to Georgia. I didn't know where I would be living after I got off the Greyhound bus. A person at the bus station told me about gateway center. I went there, the caseworker's name was Mrs white. She sent me here. Mrs Rosa was assigned to me. She's a social worker here. I completed the stepping stone program. They give a real graduation ceremony and gifts,Every homeless shelter assign each clients chores. They make you leave the shelter by 8am most people head to the Atlanta day shelter where they serve breakfast, give a chore, they have computers , and different organizations come there to do some type of activities etc. I was there for 6 months. I pray that the Lord blesses all of my education accomplishments and achievements so, I want have to go to another homeless shelter. I deserve so much better. Thank you God almighty!
Weekly, I deliver bakery items from a Publix in Sout Peachtree City. Overall, I find the staff on hand to be friendly and helpful.
