Ascension Lutheran Extended Day Preschool

Here's a revised review: 5-star review! My daughter thrived at this school because of the nurturing environment. Her teachers were exceptional, and the small class size made a huge impact on her growth and confidence. Although she's moved on to kindergarten, the foundation she built here has been invaluable. My son is now enjoying the school, and we're grateful for the dedicated teachers and community. Highly recommend!

What a great school and place to be for my Daughter! My little one has learned so much about her ABC's and being a good friend. The school is very clean and safe. Above all the teachers are warm, happy, and truly care so much for their students. We feel blessed to be at this school.

We have so immensely enjoyed our time at Ascension. The teachers are genuinely loving, attentive, and enthusiastic. Rowan cannot wait to go to school every day. He loves his teachers and talks about his adventures with friends and sings all the songs at home. He has learned how to hold a pencil, write and recognize his name, arrange numbers in order, and sort colors and shapes. He has also fine tuned his abilities with the alphabet and counting to 20. He is also learning to express his emotions in a positive way. They make tons of creative arts and crafts and the kids have plenty of room and natural light to learn and play. The areas are tastefully decorated, clean and well organized. Everything is prompt and professional, while never giving a cold impression. The teachers recount special moments with each child, and always make me feel comfortable leaving him in their care. We had been trying to potty train at home for many months to not much avail, and when he started preschool, he was immediately staying dry all day. After a few weeks into the semester, he was fully potty trained and accident free. Miss Deanna and Miss DeeDee were so helpful and encouraging to him. I can't believe how well it measures up to more expensive learning centers. It really is a gem.

As the mother of two boys, who have both attended this school, I HIGHLY recommend this program to anyone looking for an outstanding, personal touch preschool. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much the teachers and staff care for all of the children, with a genuine passion. In a span of 8 years, I have NEVER had a bad experience. This is a truly special group of people who truly enjoy the time they spend with our children. 8 thumbs up!

My daughter LOVES going to school here. All of the teachers are wonderful and treat the kids so well, it is clear how much they enjoy their jobs. My daughter is definitely a handful but Ms. Jenny & Ms. Dee Dee (hope I spelled that right!) always greet her in the morning and send her off in the afternoon with hugs, and I know that she is loved and well cared for. She is learning so much, can spell her name, and always comes home singing cute little songs she learned and stories about what her and her friends and teachers did that day. My family and I don't have enough great things to say about this program, and I can't wait to send my little guy there once he is old enough :)
