What Parents Say
Argyle Christian Preschool and Kindergarten receives high praise for its loving, patient staff and Christian environment. However, one parent reported significant concerns about academic preparation for kindergarten, noting their child and others were behind academically after completing VPK.
The staff here is wonderful, very loving and accommodating and very reasonable class sizes. My child was attended to respectfully, and adored her time there. Jinny is awesome! We also love Mrs. Kim Mrs. Paula and the K sisters.
Today my son had his last day of preschool. I was so hesitant of starting him in school due to his speech delay, but let me just say this school is truly amazing. We have had a fantastic year. My son has learned so much. The teachers lead with love and patience. They communicate amazingly. They truly love and care for our babies. If you are looking for a school to start your kids in, I recommend starting them here. I can't thank them enough for everything they have done for my son. They are AMAZING!!
Our daughter just graduated from their VPK program. She has learned so much, and not just academically. She loved every minute of it! Her teachers, Mrs. Paula and Mrs. Corey are just amazing! My daughter is ready for Kindergarten! The staff and administrators are also wonderful, always present, always ready to help, always available. Highly recommend!
I so happy I enrolled my son in VPK in this school, they all are wonderful people, I love the teaching is also Christian faith oriented. I feel my son is safe and nurtured in here. Thank you !😊
I picked this school based on location because I needed to be able to drop off my older child at school and then take my child to preschool. I regret doing this. The school and staff are sweet. But academically it’s not where it should be! My child could barely write his name and I asked if he was ready for Kindergarten. The teachers response was “uhh well... if you go over this over the summer he should be” so we decided to let him start kindergarten. He’s most likely going to have to repeat Kindergarten because he’s not where he should be. The point of VPK is to prepare your child for K. He’s learning things now that he should’ve already learned in VPK. My other child’s VPK at the end all the kids were reading. They were well where they should be. It’s not just my child. There’s another child that was in the same class that’s going to have to repeat. I’ve kept in touch with a few moms that were at the school and they’ve all said yes their kids are behind. The school needs to update its curriculum. Needless to say I won’t be sending my other child there in the fall.
