Church in itself is nice. The service too was short and sweet. My point of intolerance is on how they served communion. Only bread and no grape juice or wine ....due to Covid??? So.its ok that someone breaks off the bread and gives it to you, but you can't have a single serve grape juice...due to Covid? You are insulting the Bible by giving portion of the communion...

Though I went to church as a child and young man, I stopped going years ago due to an emptiness I felt. Had I experienced the spiritual warmth and connectedness that I find in Arcola, I would have never stopped. I believe that Arcola United Methodist Church embodies the very essence of Christian fellowship, from the caring, loving acceptance of its friendly congregation to the refreshing, guiding words of its pastor, Chris Riedel. I also have the good fortune of knowing Chris personally, and have watched him over the years work tirelessly and selflessly, ministering to members in grief and ill-health, joy and marriage, leading youth groups, coordinating mission trips to West Virginia and Mexico, taking food to the poor in DC, and clothes to shelters in Loudoun County. He is a good man. The spiritual emptiness I once felt is long since gone. My prayer is that you and your family experience this loving fulfillment as well. "All are welcome."

The women's brunch was awesome the ladies from the quilting Club are the best in the world each and every one of them especially Robin who gets her heart and soul to every Stitch
