We love our church! There is something here for everyone! The preaching is great, and fellowship is sweet. There are so many small groups for you to choose from where you can feel like you fit in and find what it is you need.
Good for average to fast learners. They do not care to assist with children that are struggling or learn at a slower speed. They are for the most part exactly like a public school. They teach to the average and either leave behind the slow or bore the heck out of the advanced. Save your money, public school is free. Teach religion at home. There is a few really good, caring teachers but without caring leaders and a few teachers that don't care it ruins it for the rest. We are trying to relocate just to get out of the bad school district we are zoned to and go back to public school although it is with heavy heart. We loved the private school from our hometown. If you are in a bad district and have an "average to fast learner" it is a pretty good option.
We love our church family at AFBC! Our 2 year old son loves going to daycare here too. Staff are always so nice they all know him by name. Pastor Josh is excellent! We love hearing his sermons when we go to worship on Sundays. And that we can watch live online if we aren’t able to attend in person. Thankful we found AFBC!
My kids have been students here for three years. After homeschooling them for the first few years of school, we prayed about sending them to a private school. Upon entering the building,we knew immediately this was the school they would be attending. God is the center of the classroom. The teachers are not only certified but continually train and look for ways to meet the students needs. Teachers are always available as a resource. The rigor and expectation at this school is extremely high, and my kids are challenged intellectually and spiritually on a daily basis. We love this place and would highly recommend it.
