Riberstones Academy-Douglasville ( RA), is the best. We are foster parents, we bring all of the kids that come into care with us to RA. Always clean & sanitize. All the staff are nice, they greet you every time & they love the kids.

My daughter has been going to the school for almost three years and this school is one of the best. My daughter is learning and having so much fun, plus the staff are all nice and welcoming! I highly recommend this school for your little one!

Alright let’s get into this review! My daughter has been a part of Riverstone Academy since before it even carried that name. From August 2022 to May 2025, our journey with this school has been nothing short of extraordinary. What began as a place for education quickly became something so much more — a second home, a true community, a family. Every single teacher my daughter encountered poured love, patience, and joy into her life. She absolutely adored each one of them, and developed a special bond with Ms. Maria and Mrs. Regina — names that now hold a permanent place in our hearts. The warmth and care they showed wasn’t just professional, it was deeply personal. And that’s rare. As a mom who also works in education, I have a deep appreciation for what it truly takes to prepare little ones for their next step — and I can say wholeheartedly that the directors, along with the Pre-K teachers, Ms. Jackie, Ms. Miracle and Ms. Christina did an incredible job. My daughter, along with so many of her classmates, was not only loved and nurtured, but also genuinely prepared for kindergarten. They laid a solid foundation, both academically and emotionally, and I’ll always be grateful for that. And the love didn’t stop at the classroom doors. Riverstone made a point to create joyful, shared experiences that brought children, families, and staff together. I especially appreciated all the fun after-school activities during the holidays. My absolute favorite was their “Taste Around the World” event — it was such a beautiful way to celebrate different cultures and bring everyone together through food and community. From Muffins with Mom to Doughnuts with Dad, the effort they put in to make those moments special didn’t go unnoticed. I say this as someone who has worked in childcare — and not just anywhere, but in a high-end daycare center. I’ve seen the difference. What Riverstone offers isn’t something you can buy — it’s something that comes from the heart. The kind of love and attention they give to every child can’t be matched. And let me not forget Ms. Viv, whose meals filled the school with the most delicious aromas — many times I walked in and it felt like home, just from the smell of her cooking alone. My daughter completed her Pre-K years at Riverstone and the joy she carried home each day was undeniable. Her teachers made learning fun, safe, and full of love. Watching her thrive in such a nurturing environment is something I will be forever grateful for. The women of Riverstone Academy have left a lifelong imprint on my daughter’s early childhood — one filled with kindness, encouragement, and beautiful memories. And not just on her — on me too. I’ll always hold close the moments shared with the staff, other parents, and all the incredible little ones who made our time there so special. Riverstone Academy will always be part of our story. And for that, I am endlessly thankful. So again, to the beautiful women of Riverstone Academy- Douglasville, I am truly thankful and blessed for all that you did for my little one. You all will forever be missed.

My 4 month old has been at the school for 2 months. We love his teachers Ms. Lavender and Ms.Kristen! The administration is always friendly and communicative. I really appreciate the fact that they have an open door policy and I can go and check on him if I feel he might be having a hard time. I feel safe with my child being here and happy that I chose this daycare.

My daughter has attended Riverstone since June of 2023 and has truly enjoyed. My husband and I are thrilled at how happy she is and now hates the weekends bc she enjoys school so much. She started in the 3 year old room but soon moved up bc she’s very advanced being the youngest of 5. She will start pre-k in August and we’re excited to continue there. I will mention that I am a teacher in another district and am very particular and present with communication of expectations and the staff and admin have exceeded my expectations. Whenever she was not feeling well, or had an incident, I was not only notified through the app but I received an email and phone call within 10 mins. If there was ever a concern with a teacher, they addressed things right away. Having an open door policy also confirms how they confidently choose staffing and use procedures with fidelity. There has been turnover, but that seems to be the norm across childcare centers and educational institutions everywhere. Overall, we truly love Riverstone staff and admin. My daughter absolutely adores Ms. Meagan, Ms. Marsha, Ms. Yvette, Ms.Maria, Ms. Vivian and there’s 2 more I can’t remember. So much so, she wanted them all to attend her birthday party. 🥰
