What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise Angels Academy for prioritizing child safety, academic excellence, and strong teacher-child relationships. Multiple families report their children are ahead of grade level and express confidence in the school's cleanliness, communication, and caring staff. Parents appreciate the school's responsiveness to family needs and welcoming environment.
Five stars because the school does the main things we need: ensure our child’s safety, provide education, have a clean environment, provide fun activities, and have open line of communication as needed. This school does much more. There are areas that could be improved but that is everywhere. I saw one review that the food wasn’t as healthy and I agree somewhat. However, they work with families that communicate with them. We are able to bring in preferred food items for our child. They accommodate where needed for the betterment of your child. It’s teamwork. They get it. I trust everyone with my child and that’s priceless. I could write a book on all the wonderful things here and I will later. I just felt after almost a year I am able to leave an accurate review. Hoping things continue to progress. Thank you to everyone at the school for caring for the most precious thing we have, our children. You all do a ton of work everyday for the next generations. You put the angels in Angels Academy.
So grateful for everyone at Angels Academy! I was so scared with my daughter transitioning to a new school but they went out of their way to make sure she was very comfortable. We went to tour the school and view her classroom & she had so much fun she didn’t want to leave. I love the emphasis on academics & self sufficiency. My family has had several kids enrolled at the school and they’ve all had a pleasant experience. Very open line of communication and lots of love for the children!
I love this school. My son is doing so well and I know it's because of the teachers and staff. They have been diligent and always helpful regarding my son's care and education. My nephews and niece have gone to this school and are always told that they are more advanced than others and I know it's due to the headstart they received at Angels.
The Academy came highly recommended for my then 3 year old and I can truly say I began very happy with the classroom environment, the teaching style and the overall structure of the school. My son has learned so much while attending Angel’s Academy, so much so that I enrolled my 8 month old in the school, however only for a short time. Through my observation I noticed all the babies in the class were crawling and pulling up on things and I suggested TWICE more padding/rugs be placed on now tile floors to support them if/when they fall. The director said she had to consult with the other managers and the issue was not addressed. The issue I had with my infant was easily rectifiable, however was meet with resistance from the program director. Moving to my 3 year old... In an adult work environment we are given notice when our performance isn’t meeting standards and it usually is in the form of a Warning, Final Warning, then Termination. We were advised same day that our 3 year old son was being terminated from the child care facility because he had 2 incidents in less than a week. We felt this was very unfair, unreasonable and the actions did not warrant the decision. I said all this to say, if you choose to send your child to this school make sure you have written documentation all incidents that happen to your child and vice versa. I’m extremely disappointed in the manner the administration handled this, however we never want my child anywhere he is not wanted.
We are LOVING this school and the staff. Our 3-year old son (COVID baby) started in January 2023. This was an experience for not only my son, but for me as well (my first child). I know most parents can relate that it's not easy trusting anyone with your child 7-8 hours a day, 5 days a week. My mind and heart has been at ease from the safety of my son, learning, and happiness. Safety - First, there's a guard on duty everyday who is also familiar with each of the kids. Takes their temperature, helps sign them in, etc. In addition to the guard, there are various security measures throughout the school. Take the tour! Learning - Everyday/week my 3-year old is coming home with a different song, bible verse, word, etc. (memorized) that he is randomly singing or quoting. We have been very pleased and impressed with Mrs. Dupree this year. We can't thank her enough for all that she does. Happiness - To hear your child on the way to school say, "I LOVE SCHOOL" means a lot. I'm not worried throughout the day of how he's getting along. Especially, when he's asking over the weekend if he has school tomorrow. Each day and night when we ask him about school, it's the same, I had fun. He's able to tell me the names of not only his teacher, but the other students as well. Knowing he's happy, makes us happy. Thanks again to Mrs. Carolyn, Gamble, Dupree, and staff for all that you do!
