I just saw an AKA bus pass and felt a tinge of sadness that my son is not attending currently so thought I'd write a review! We both loved AKA! The staff is great - all of them, I never doubted my son's safety in anyway and the price is so ideal - especially with tae kwon do part time. Due to schedule conflicts he can't attend after school this year, but am hoping he will be able to attend summer camp. I was so impressed by the camp. They definitely keep the kids busy, active and having fun, and again the price is unbeatable. I have nothing but glowing things to say about AKA and would definitely recommend them to anyone!
I love this place! I have three kids that have gone through this summer camp program. The program has been fun and consistent for all three. The field trips are relevant for each age group. I love the exercise based program. So refreshing in an electronic gadget age! Thank you Mr. Kemp!
My son went to their summer camp and had a blast! They have field trips almost every day and have a great facility for AKA Fun Days! The cost is comparable to a Daycare facility and I can assure you that the activities that they have are so much better and engaging! I will be going back next year!
My daughter loves it here! The staff/coaches are great. You can tell they care. I like how they keep the kids busy with physical activity. It's super convenient that the kiddos in Tae Kwon Do are pulled from the after-school group and brought to the front for TKD class. I didn't have to worry about rushing from work to pick her up from daycare to bring her to practices on time. They don't provide snacks or lunch during the summer, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me.
AKA is a wonderful alternative to regular day care programs. My daughter is 6 and loves coming here. The morning hours are perfect for me when I have early morning meetings at work and the after school pickup is helpful so I don't have to worry about her getting picked up from school. My daughter also chose to participate in Taekwondo and they have a great program for young kids called Little Ninjas. She has learned so much in less than a year. The staff is very attentive and goes above for my daughter helping her get changed for her taekwondo class. I highly recommend you give this place a try, it's also very affordable which is great if you have more than one child attending.
