As a grandmother my grandchild’s safety and happiness are my biggest priorities, American child has gone above and beyond providing my grandbaby with both to the fullest extent. Mr. Jimmy and Mrs. Piper have become like family and have exceeded my expectations in all aspects. Watching my granddaughter thrive in this environment has been nothing but a joy to behold she has blossomed into such a smart preschooler who I know will be 100% ready to start kindergarten in the fall.

I absolutely love American Child! I just moved back to Statesville recently, and I couldn't have found a better child care to take my children. Not only is Statesville my home, but American Child is home too. I know Jimmy and Piper personally. I went to school with their children, and they are honestly family friends. Along with that, the infant teacher was MY teacher when I was a baby. Then I had the honor of her being my babies teacher as well. What a wonderful place to come back to. The majority of the staff have been there for years! That truly says something about the facility as a whole. My 4 year old comes home everyday with new knowledge that she didn't have the day before. They are teaching the children and loving on the children. I'm pretty sure my two year old would rather spend time with her teacher than with me (her mom). They LOVE to go to school! During Christmas break they just kept asking how much longer until they could go to school again. American child is a second home to the children, and my children have proven to me that I made the right choice in sending them there. They learn, they make lifelong friends, they make core memories that they will take with them. Choose American Child - your children will feel right at home.

Both of my kids LOVE American Child. Before we took our kids to another daycare and our oldest was happy but would cry some days when we dropped off but our youngest was miserable...he cried every day until we picked them up. At American Child our youngest is now talking and playing and will always say bye to his teachers. Our oldest she is in LOVE with all of her teachers. So I highly recommend American Child for daycare!

Our daughter has gone to this school for just about her whole life so far and we’ve never had a single issue. Staff and the owners are all incredibly kind to all parents and kids who walk into the building. I highly recommend American Child. Our daughter has so much fun there on a daily basis and she LOVES all of her teachers

My daughter has attended American child since she was 3 months old after a very bad experience at another daycare and the world of difference this school has made for her development is absolutely indescribable. Mr Jimmy is a wonderful man and all the teachers she’s been with throughout the years have always treated her like their own. I can wholeheartedly say the recent allegations against this place are false without a single doubt. My little one has been diagnosed with severe anxiety and going places can be pretty difficult for her but every single day she wakes up excited to go to school and see her friends and teachers she’s loves them unconditionally and if she had any reservations about how her day would go she would make that known loudly. She comes home daily with little art projects for us and worksheets to do at home that she puts her whole heart into. She’s also an extremely picky eater but yet she tells me daily about what she had for lunch and it’s rarely a repeat meal and she never has a complaint about the food. I cannot say enough good things about this place they’ve become our second family and it hurts my heart to know they’re being spoken negatively about by a few bad apples. We love American child and would recommend it to any family considering a school weather it be your infant or for a preschool environment your child will be uplifted and praised daily for all their achievements!
