Small Beginnings Child Development Center II

My daughter has been at this daycare since she was 2. Since they also have NCPreK, she was able to stay and transition from the infant class all the way to preschool. They have been a second family to us and help mold her and she loves all her teachers. The entire staff is absolutely incredible and Ms. Shana is thee most bubbly person ever and every single day and very well educated. The activities she bring to the preschool children are like nothing you will ever see anywhere. This is the energy our children need every morning to get them enthusiastic about school and learning! The owner is also amazing and very kind and patient. I recommend this center for your little ones! The center is also cleaned and sanitized everyday and the kids get wonderful home cooked meals for lunch or breakfast. Staff communicates extremely well with any issues or incidents, even the littlest scratch your child receives from playing. Lots of engaging events for the entire family to attend. Center is big on safety also. 10/10 highly recommend!

I want to start by thanking this daycare for blessing my children in a mighty way! They are learning Spanish. They are learning how to make art activities, and they are also learning everything I started at home. Treat others how they (you) want to be treated. Sharing is caring with others. Keeping their hands to themselves, and respect adults. I am so grateful The Lord found us a school that they enjoy and feel comfortably to be themselves. I love this school/daycare program I would highly recommend your kids to go here! I highly recommend you DO NOT send your kids to New Beginnings in Stony Point my personal opinion. I cannot say enough good things about this daycare. My oldest attended for Pre-K, and after such an amazing experience, I knew I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else. Now, my youngest is in Pre-K here, and she absolutely loves it. Both of my kids also attend aftercare, and it’s something they genuinely look forward to every day. The teachers are incredible, so compassionate, kind, and joyful. Every morning, they greet the kids with such warmth and positivity, setting the tone for a great day. They truly treat the children like family, and as a parent, that’s exactly the kind of environment I want for my kids. This daycare has been a blessing for our family, and I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a nurturing, loving place for their children.

I have three children, and my youngest is the only one who has attended daycare. At first, I was apprehensive about sending her to a daycare center. However, the team at Small Beginnings quickly put my fears to rest. Their exceptional care and dedication have exceeded my expectations. They truly treat my child as if she were their own. I am incredibly grateful they welcomed my daughter into their center!

We love Small Beginnings!! My son attends pre-k with Ms. Shana and Ms. Alazjah and it has been such a positive journey for us! Our son has had some poor experiences in child care centers up until preschool and this is the longest he’s been in a school without being “too much to handle” they have been so patient and supportive even with them still having some challenging moments with our little one they have really helped change our sons perspective on school and teachers to the point where recently he expresses how much he misses them when we leave and we couldn’t be more appreciative! A true success story!
