Amazing Days For Little People

I am the grandmother of a 4-year-old child who attends this daycare, and after what happened, I am now personally involved. I am beyond alarmed by the safety and supervision issues my family has experienced. My daughter was told she needed to pick up my grandson because he had “tripped over a friend’s leg on the playground” and was bleeding from the mouth. When she arrived, he was covered in blood and bleeding heavily — far more than what anyone would reasonably expect from a simple fall. Even more concerning was the lack of supervision. While staff handed him water, another child was able to run up and push him again. This alone raises serious questions about how closely the children are being monitored and protected. When my daughter tried to determine what really happened, a child present stated that another child had pushed him. The teacher immediately dismissed this and repeated the claim that he had “tripped.” However, someone later reviewed the camera footage and confirmed that my grandson was pushed from behind with significant force, causing him to fall face-first and immediately begin gushing blood from his mouth. This directly contradicts what staff reported. Providing an explanation to a parent that does not match what is captured on video is completely unacceptable. Parents and families deserve honesty and transparency, especially when injuries occur. Misrepresenting or minimizing incidents involving young children is a serious breach of trust. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated concern. There appears to be a troubling pattern of inadequate supervision, particularly on the playground, where staff are often distracted rather than actively watching the children. As his grandmother, I am now involved because child safety is not negotiable. Proper supervision and truthful reporting are the most basic expectations for any childcare facility. Based on our family’s experience, there are deeply concerning issues that other parents and families should be aware of.

Our daughter has been going to Amazing Days for almost 6 months now, and we’re very happy with our decision to move here! Our previous center had extensive turnover, where we’d have a different teacher in her room everyday and no communication. At Amazing Days, we’ve consistently had the same teachers since the start, and they always communicate in depth about how her day is going. We appreciate that it’s a smaller center, as our daughter has some delays and could easily be lost in the shuffle, but every teacher really seems to care about the kiddos and their development!

We love this daycare! Our son is very happy here. Staff go above and beyond to care for the kids. It’s small enough that everyone knows who is who even if they are not the teacher assigned to your child’s room. I love the educational approach that they take with all age levels, my son is always impressing me with something new he has learned that I definitely didn’t teach him. Management is ran well and always available to talk about questions or concerns. Very clean and fun environment. We live and work on the opposite side of town and decided to keep our son at this daycare because that’s how happy we are with it!

The teachers in the infant room are fantastic! Janice, Hazel, and Nicole love our daughter, engage with her throughout the day, are receptive and understanding when I ask for things to be done certain ways, send photos often, and keep things clean. We are so grateful to have them taking care of our girl! The director and front desk staff are very nice and helpful as well.

I have been taking my son to this daycare for 3 years now and he absolutely loves it. You can tell the staff cares about your child the second you step through the front door. Every morning the staff greets him by name with a smile as soon as we walk in. His classroom teachers have always been amazing and he is constantly talking about them. He's always excited to come here and it's hard for him to say bye to his teachers and friends at the end of the day. I know my child is in good care while he is here!
