Parents particularly highlight the director Jeanette's responsiveness and the center's ability to accommodate special needs and dietary requirements.
I would recommend Altamonte daycare to anyone with young children. My 3 and 5 year old went here and I feel like they learned a lot. They prepared my son for kindergarten and made the cutest graduation ceremony for him and his class, it was nice of them to make it special for them. My 3 year old was learning a lot as well. The staff are very kind and respectful. The director is awesome she will assist you in anything you need and will meet your needs the best she can! I like that they serve dinner when I couldn’t pick them up by 530.
My son went here from the time he was 6 months old to when he started Kindergarten, my daughter is 3 and has been going here since she was 6 weeks. I love the staff and the environment. My kids learn and play and we've always felt so welcomed by everyone. My son needed special dietary accommodations while he attended. I had spoken with other daycares and they wouldn't even accept us because it would have been too difficult, but it was never an issue at AltaMonte. Jeanette never made it a big deal and insisted he wasn't treated differently just because sometimes he was served different food. When I first went back to work after each child it was such a comfort to have the app for the cameras and be able to watch my babies in their classes. I absolutely recommend this daycare.
My grandson loves his school! Miss Jeanette and his teachers, Miss Rosea and Miss Maria have made the transition to school so fun and enjoyable for him. We fondly call Miss Maria the "potty whisperer" because his toileting skills have been perfected by her care and attention. He loves getting up in the morning and going to see Miss Rosea and his friends every day for breakfast. I could not have asked for more caring and professional people to care for my grandson. The 2yr old class has been so enriching for him in so many ways. Miss Jeanette is an amazing person and director of the school. She is always ready with a smile and a helping hand. I appreciate her thoughtful administration of her programs. I recommend this school highly! Thank you!
My Kiddos have been going to this daycare for years. My oldest (9) since she was 2 yrs old. and My youngest (3) since she was 6 weeks old. The infant teachers were amazing and milestones I missed during the day were always told to me with excitement that evening. When it was time for my oldest to go to school she was ready for kindergarten. They are never late to get my child from school and they help with homework which helps so much.. The manager and staff are a caring and loving bunch no matter the age. Easy to talk to and always willing to listen. I highly recommend this place I never have to worry about my children being in their care. Thank you all so much!!
I love and am so grateful for Altamonte! My daughter began at Altamonte at 13 weeks old. She is my first child and I was so inexperienced. I had no doubt about the great care she was receiving while I was away, but I was surprised at how much I learned form the care providers at Altamonte. They guided me through things like home remedies for diaper rash, teething soothers, and introducing table food. I feel they genuinely care about, are enthusiastic about, and are invested in my daughters development. Another thing I love about Altamonte, that I didn't even really think about when choosing a daycare, is the diversity of the staff. My daughter is bi-racial, and I am really happy that my daughter gets to experience the care and leadership of women from so many different backgrounds. Obviously I don't know everyone ethnic background (I don't ask), but the diversity is clear.
