I don’t know who had more fun on vacation, us or the dogs. Lincoln and Pip said thanks for all their new doggie friends. We left our two Standard Poodles there for a week and the staff kept us updated. They sent us pictures and videos. We will definitely use them again for our boarding needs.
I highly recommend this boarding place for your dog. Connie is a true dog lover as well as her adult sons who help her. We left Milly for a week in August while going to the beach. It was her first time staying there. In all the years of taking our dogs for boarding we ALWAYS had to give them a bath, sometimes we wouldn’t let them go beyond our laundry room until bathed because they stunk so bad. When we picked Milly up she didn’t need a bath. I was amazed. I’m sure this is in large part to the “Almost Home“ environment. Connie doesn't keep the dogs in kennels. There are couches , chairs and crates ( only for the dogs who need some isolation). There is a huge yard for the dogs to go outside and play or potty. Connie picked the perfect name. Almost Home because it really is like a home away from home. Connie has the business for the right reason. She wants dog owners to have peace of mind when they have to be away from their babies. Dogs who stay here are shown love and care. Highly highly recommended. Thanks Connie.
Ruby loves to visit! She gets so excited when we pull in. I love it bc at home she is not crated but enjoys the space of our home and yard. She gets the same thing here! No kennel, even at night. I even get photos and videos while we are away💕
I've been taking my Golden Retriever to Almost Home for 2 years and couldn't be happier. We have tried a few boarding different boarding/daycares and I believe this one stands above the rest. The dogs get a full house, and can go inside and outside mostly as they please. There is always someone there on top of everything, and they have a huge, fenced in yard to play. My dog, stands up in the car, and gets so excited every time we start to pull into the driveway. Highly recommend.
Zeb loves it here! Connie is awesome in giving us updates about our dog. We have the most confidence in our Zeb being taken care of and he loves playing with other dogs.
