All Smiles Child Care Center has a stark divide in parent feedback. While two reviews praise the teachers and cleanliness, nine negative reviews consistently cite serious concerns about the director/owner's management, communication, and behavior toward staff and parents, along with allegations of administrative issues, inadequate child adjustment support, communication failures regarding child safety, and unsafe driving practices.
I would not recommend anyone place their child at All Smiles Child Care while Pat Whitaker is still the director/owner. While the teachers are truly amazing and do the absolute best that they can, the director creates a very uninviting environment for the staff and parents which reflects on to the children. She has proven to be consistently unorganized and attempts to double charge parents despite having an electronic system and payment receipts provided. You should be able to trust your child is in good hands and unfortunately, this director has shown to be extremely untrustworthy. You will notice she has spots open because parents are choosing to leave and place their children in more reputable childcare facilities.
My son turned 2 in October, I was a stay at home mother/working in adminstrative work from home most of his life. I accepted a new full time position and he began attending daycare. He started October 25th. He was kicked out of his daycare Tuesday of this week for excessive crying/tantrums. The facilitator told me his teaching wrote a disturbing passage stating she would no longer accept my son into her classroom because she “couldn’t handle it” The facilitator sided with the teacher and said Its been 4 months (in which they were closed for a week for Christmas, several days for thanksgiving, and numerous for snow) my son should not still be crying for his mama and behaving that way. I trusted the leaders in this facility to help my son learn independence and adapt to being away from me at times. Instead he was thrown out after 4 months and I was left to find somewhere else willing to take up the extra time with my son. Not bad people, but if your expecting someone to love on your babies and help them adjust on a new journey the way a parent/teacher should, this ain’t the place to go.
Will not discuss anything with the father of the child regarding a bruise. Ms Sue lied about certain information and choose to hang up the phone when asked important questions I would NOT recommend this daycare
I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. My grandson was miserable here. He loved school until he started here. I would ask him daily how was school and everyday he came home upset. The director never took the time to address the situation. She was always in a hurry and never made the time to discuss any parental concerns. Definitely not the nurturing type that we would want to be responsible to and for our children.
The “director”/owner is very rude, disrespectful, and short with her responses. Have had too many issues with her over the years. Do not recommend this daycare to anyone.
