Action Day Nursery On Moorpark

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my son’s daycare! From the moment we enrolled, we’ve felt welcomed, supported, and truly cared for. My son absolutely loves going every day, and seeing him so happy, confident, and growing so much has been the biggest blessing. A huge shout-out to Ms. Jeanette, Ms. Teresa, Ms. Carmen, Ms. Mariana, Ms. Kat, Ms. Val, Ms. Arlethe, and all the amazing floating teachers — each of you has played such an important role in my son’s development. Your patience, kindness, and dedication shine every single day. It means the world to me to see how much he has learned and how excited he is to be in your care. I also want to recognize our incredible Director, Ms. Kelsea, and Ms. Celina, who consistently go above and beyond to ensure every student is loved, supported, and well taken care of. Their leadership and warmth truly set the tone for such a nurturing environment. I genuinely appreciate all the thoughtful activities and events the school organizes to build community and create opportunities for families to connect with teachers on a more personal level. It makes such a meaningful difference and shows how much this daycare values relationships and child development. We enrolled our daughter in the 2s program shortly after she turned two, and she has grown at Action Day Moorpark through the 3s program and now in the Pre-K program. She absolutely loves the teachers, her favorites include Ms. Cassia (director - who also gave us a tour of the center during our first visit), Ms. Trish (her 2s teacher), Ms. Fatima (her 3s teacher) and now Ms. Abie & Ms. Nilima (her Pre-K teachers). We love how spacious and well-equipped the classrooms and the play areas are, and we like it that outdoor play time is a significant part of the daily schedule (kids at this age benefit significantly from outdoor play time and activities). We also love that Action Day provides several extra-curricular classes right on site - our daughter enjoys her dance classes, her sports classes and, more recently, her Spanish classes. We highly recommend Action Day Moorpark for parents/kids for early-age care, education and development.

We love Action Day Infant Care! Our son started here when he was 5 months old, and really thrived, thanks to the lovely care from Ms. Asra. She provides personal attention, anticipates his needs, and has proactively prepared him towards his milestones. She was also super supportive post his international travels to get him accustomed back to school. He’s very excited to go to school (he even asks to go on weekends!) The classroom 6 has a wonderful and nurturing environment— other teams Ms. Kristina and Ms. Mae are amazing too!

My son has attended Action Day Moorpark since he was 6mo old. We feel so fortunate to have found a supportive and trustful community that has cared for my son and aided in his development. When he was 2, his teacher Ms Jessica, built an environment with fun and trust, that my son was excited to go to each day. Now 3, he raves about Ms Aloha and Ms Judy, both are quality examples of dedicated, supportive teachers. Thank you Action Day, and all of the amazing teachers!!

My kids were enrolled in the infant center and preschool for +2 years at Action Day Moorpark. My oldest had Ms. Ashley as her TK teacher and adored going to Action Day when her teacher would be there. Ms. Ashley was engaging with the kids, knew how to encourage kids when they needed some emotional support, and understood how to communicate at their level ensuring it was a safe space. My youngest (boss baby) attended the infant side and loved seeing Ms. Jeannette every day. I appreciate how much the teachers care about the kids and make sure that the parents are heard. I only removed 1 star as I wish the business side of Action Day would take better care of the staff. One example would be to add air conditioning in the infant center for the staff area. It is hard doing check in & check out sweating in that area, I cannot image how difficult it must be for the staff sitting there.
