Hi My name Is Harold Lippit and I absolutely had to come by and leave an Excellent 10 Star ⭐️ I’m sorry 5 is simply not enough for the great job Hope Atlanta does assisting the citizens of the Atlanta metro area in financial hardship in fear of losing a residency. The process for gaining rental assistance is painless process and very simple with proper documents and the staff is absolutely top tier and I want to speak on two individuals specifically. The service I received from Ms. Roz during the intake process was absolutely a breath of fresh air from other agencies that can be rude and make applicants feel like a charity case but Ms Roz has a pleasant and professional tone she carries that shows she cares about every applicant that walks through the doors of Hope Atlanta. Mrs. lee my case worker also very professional and encouraging with my evaluation and shortly after approval of the assistance. What truly impressed me the most with Hope Atlanta and the staff is how urgent they make every case and request to get you the assistance you need immediately and my case was absolutely on a time basis where I needed the approval immediately. Guys keep up the good work and I can’t thank you enough for your assistance. 🙏🏾

After one year living in a teepee in the woods I searched the web daily trying to find a place nobody was affordable on ssdi. Hope Atlanta put me up in motel for 7 months. Until they had me an apt. Without there love and kindness I would have surely died a horrible death.

Never had a problem with HOPE until this last pickup-which did not happen. They were in contact fodr over a week telling when they would be here for the pickup. All was well; I bagged into a LARGE bag and tagged it appropriately. Nobody ever came to pick it up, and now there's no way to contact them!!! What a waste!

It’s very disappointing every time I go down there their saying they don’t help my zip code but I was told from my kids social worker that they assist everybody! The CEO of Hope Atlanta was just on the news saying how they job is to prevent struggling family substance stability individuals coming out of homelessness. I need help it’s just me and my girls I’m trying to get back on my feet! Then they sent a email saying I would have needed to already paid my rent 5 months straight before receiving help is Crazy! Five months ago! I was still homeless if it’s to help My God help and stop making all these diabolical rules! To help people this is why! It’s so much displaced people and homeless it’s frustrating I need help to get back on my feet

I went thur Hope Atlanta during Covid 19. I met them at the Airport. They were housing the homeless in a Big Hotel.I stayed there for 3 months.I then moved to pad split. This is a house where they rent you a room. This way fully paid for. I finally moved into a nice 2 bedroom Airport.I stayed there for 2 years. I had to get a job to afford my living expenses & to buy clothing. I ended up getting my Disability benefits suspended & also lost my job. My case manager was helping me with filing for unemployment & food stamps. We never received any assistance. My case manager did manage to get me Rental & Electric assistance but no food. I had $12,000 in savings but had no income for 9 months. I had no food for 5 months.I ended getting very sick & thought this is were I"am gonna Die. I ended up in jail in Gwinnett County for 2 years for 3rd degree Forgery.I am currently homeless.I did get my Social Security started back up. I am on the Streets with a Seizure disorder. The system is very messed up.Where is the Emergency Assistance when you need it the most. They just wait to you become homeless. Why don't Hope Atlanta follow up with clients that are housed ? To make sure they continue to be housed.
