Parents report significant developmental progress in their children across academic, emotional, and social areas, with particular appreciation for the Montessori approach and thoughtful classroom design.
We absolutely love this Acreage! From the moment we walked in, we felt a sense of warmth, order, and intentionality. The teachers are incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and deeply respectful of each child's unique learning journey. Our child has blossomed here — not just academically, but emotionally and socially as well. The classroom environments are beautiful and thoughtfully prepared, encouraging independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. We’re especially impressed by how the staff fosters real-world skills, mindfulness, and confidence at such a young age. If you're looking for a place where your child will be seen, heard, and truly supported — this is it. We can’t recommend it enough!
Fantastic school! Our 7 year old son spent the summer at Acreage and they had a ton of activities to keep him busy. The teachers are kind and they include all meals. Will definitely be coming back next year. Thank you for all you do
Don’t send your kids here! Took me a while to post this but I recently spoke to a parent that was thinking of sending their child to this daycare/school and I decided to post a review. I can only speak as to the positive change I saw in my daughter when we moved her from Acreage Montessori Academy (AMA) to another local school. She attended AMA 6 months. When we dropped her off at AMA she would cry and beg not to stay 90% of the mornings, and it only got worse towards the end. This should have been the 1st red flag. When she first started AMA we would receive daily photos and see her work. Three months in, photos were rare and it seems like most days she would just be playing and doing arts and craft, no true curriculum structure. During the 6 month period she only received homework ONE TIME. The new school she is attending has a curriculum we see put to practice and she has weekly homework, as well as brings home proof of work. She has not cried at drop off, not even on the 1st day and the environment just feels different, it's like you are part of a family. There is full transparency, so different from AMA. Our daughter is happy at the new school and even asked us to pick her up later because she feels so good there, has now been there 1.5 yrs . We even see the positive change in how she acts at home and how happy she is. When she was at AMA she was always sad and down. I would not recommend AMA, look somewhere else. I am sure this review will be followed by a bunch of "positive ones" just to dilute the rating effect.
Has been great having my 2 year old at Acreage - they have been helping us with the potty-training so she's been learning super quickly. They have small toilets in every classroom and even on the playground, which is a huge plus! I work remote for a mental health clinic and having my baby at Acreage has definitely given me and my husband a peace of mind. Our daughter absolutely loves all of her teachers!
What an amazing school. I am so impressed with my baby’s teacher and with the front desk staff. They always accommodate all my requests and they really truly care about the kids. My son has been learning so much and his teacher knows what she is doing. She has been at Acreage for years because she was also my nephew’s teacher in 2017! Highly recommend
