Horrible, criminal experience. Employee who isn’t even supposed to place caregivers in homes handpicked one person to work in tandem with herself to systematically make weekly withdrawals from my parents account ($30,000) and run up over $25,000 on credit cards. Also placed unvetted people in the home who she had never met or even interviewed. When contacted AccessCNY, they denied she even works there (although her name is on their website). Police investigation in progress, although no outcome as of yet due to lack of manpower and/or concern on their part. I am not including any names as of yet due to ongoing investigation. They will come later.
If I could give this place a zero I would, they are very rude like to get smart with people, cheat people out of their money. The co-workers I worked with were great and I loved the participants but the management is horrible especially the supervisor for David Clark Learning Center! Its nice when you first get in there but give it a couple of months to a year once the newness wears off then they start showing they true colors snotty attitudes, picking and choosing you name it!
Hosted Well run meeting for OPWDD Strategic Planning session…easy access and plenty of parking.
Referred multiple times over a period of 5 years or more. Never helped but that did not stop them from receiving government funds every time we were referred without receiving any help.. disgraceful waist of taxpayer monies and gross negligence to the youth they should support..
Used to be in accesscny until we moved to Charlotte north carolina last July. My girlfriend used to be friends with a few people in the program at accesscny but not anymore cause someone called her the n-word she doesn't like that word and they start drama with her even people would tell staff what she said about them she's no longer friends with thoes people staff believes them that's wrong. She never started drama those people started drama with her wish something could have been done so happy we lifted accesscny last year. Nope not going call accesscny cause don't don't live in New York people don't need to be racist in the program
