Truly disgusted this place hasn’t been shut down. The owner expects perfection from parents with regards to communication but can’t even manage to open at the time she demands you drop your child off. She will try to falsify your signed contract to try to collect fees from you. Won’t let parents into the facility (which should have been the first red flag but I chose to believe she was trying to keep a clean and safe environment…that was not the case, she didn’t want parents to see the deplorable conditions inside). I am ashamed that I had my child enrolled as long as they were and I thank God every day we no longer pay this vile human. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS FOR THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF YOUR CHILDREN!!!
I was going to enroll my child into this facility. The director and facility seemed okay so I took an application. My child is enrolled into a therapy program and the director only wants the therapist(s) to come out Mondays or Wednesdays and possibly Fridays “because those are the only times that she’s there”and only from 9AM-10AM. I informed the director that the therapist(s) days/times would vary since more kids are enrolling into the program. I let her know that I would return the application (which was $85.00) since I chose not to enroll him due to conflict. I also did NOT write/mark on any part of the application! The director told me the application fee was non refundable! But did NOT bother to tell me it was non refundable PRIOR to me purchasing the application! Otherwise, I would not have paid for an application until I had confirmation from the therapists about their availability! Once I explained to the director that that should have been the first thing discussed PRIOR to accepting my payment.. I did not receive an apology let alone a text/response back. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and 0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. I should have read the reviews and proceeded to find another facility for my child!
Academy of angels is an awesome place. They have been amazing. My daughter has been with this preschool for two years now and they have always been very professional and supportive. Miss Nina, Miss Danielle, and Miss Tee just to name a few, have been simply amazing. They have assisted me with my daughter, when I needed to pick her up late they understood and adjust their schedule to meet my schedule. When I was out of work and was unable to pay and had to make late payments they always worked with me. Before bringing my daughter to Academy of angels every other day care that I took her to she would cry every day because she did not want to go. Now she gets up in the morning asking to go to school. She loves it and she loves her teachers. Because of academy of Angels amazing preschool curriculum my daughter now is able to recognize her name. Knows her 1st & last name & how to spell her 1st name, write her name & she knows her birthday. She has accomplished recognizing colors, some letters and numbers and knows how to count. Her fine motor skills & learning to write and cut with scissors was a major goal that was set and she has since flourished. I would like to personally say thank you to the staff at Academy of Angels and I would recommend this preschool to everyone.
The director and staff at Academy of Angels are professional, kind and caring. During my son’s absent when he was sick, Ms. Nina, the director, called to check on him, which shows genuine care. They love and treat my son like their own. Also, they offer a variety of shifts for parents who work non-standard hours, which is a major plus. Also, Ms. Nina and her team offer high-quality childcare. I am impressed with my son’s learning progression over the last 2 years. I am also appreciative to Ms. Nina and her staff for remaining open during the COVID-19 pandemic so parents could work. They follow keen CDC guidance to maintain a healthy environment for the staff and children. I highly recommend their childcare services.
My child has been with Academy of Angles for five years now, every employee and owner as well are great at what they do she and I love them all. My daughter has progressed so well though out the years and a big thanks to Academy of Angels because she is kindergarten ready. I couldn’t have chosen a better place for my child. They’re very professional, very clean, kids are always happy and smiling and the set up in each room is sooo cute and they also took every measure during this pandemic to keep our kids safe and healthy. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I would recommend Academy of Angles to any parent/parents searching for a wonderful daycare for their child/children.
