Abundant Life Christian Preschool

Our 3 children went to Abundant Life Christian School, for one year. We can honestly say it did WAY more harm than good. Our children were name called, kicked, hit, they witnessed extreme disobedience from other children. They also learned more about worldly things than any Christian family would be okay with. We have an extensive paper trail of all these events and MORE. The response was always they were “working on it” The last straw was our 6 year old came home asking questions about a topic that was extremely too mature for him to be asking about. He heard it at school….. we brought it up to the director and this was her response: —“Abundant Life Christian School has accepted the responsibility to be the Gospel and Christ to the students enrolled here. Through our accreditation with the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools we also accepted the calling to become an evangelical school rather than a closed school. This means we accept students who NEED the Gospel, Biblical training, an introduction to Christ, and who will come to the saving grace of Jesus Christ” Their curriculum is Christian based, so they are basically teaching one thing with the curriculum, but then allowing the students to completely show the opposite. We pay for a Christian school to have our children surrounded by like minded students, with like minded families . That definitely is not the case at this school. We went to visit almost every Christian private school in Albuquerque, some have the SAME accreditation, but were all “closed” schools meaning you had to be a Christian to attend a Christian school. We pray for this school and if they want to be an evangelical school make Christian parents aware at registration. We would have DEFINITELY passed had that been discussed, it’s completely misleading and our goal is to make it understood so other families don’t go through the hurt and damage that we did.

My review was previously deleted so here I am again This school abuses children, I attended this school when I was 15 and I was randomly separated from the other children and interrogated by 3 pastors. They yelled at me for hours to "admit my sins and pray for forgiveness" I had no idea what they were talking about, I was crying and begging them to stop. I tried to run to a phone and call my parents, they tackled me and locked me in a room with a Bible until the end of the school day. They had a meeting with my parents and said if I refused an exorcism they would expel me. Fortunately my parents were religious but not to that extreme and removed me from that school. There were other incidents, I once got my pants wet during recess because it was raining and they forced me to kneel at my desk the rest of the day. These people are insane, do not send your children here.

Great school and great environment to have your kids at. The personalization teaching the students receive is better than I could have asked at a public school.

A great school! My daughter has done so much better in almost everything she didn’t with public schools.
