ABC Barn Preschool in La Mesa is truly a school like no other. My daughter Gianna loved and cherished every single day she spent there. She absolutely adored her teachers, Mrs. Maria and Mrs. Russul, whose warmth, care, and dedication made such a positive impact on her life. The school felt like a family away from home, providing not only a nurturing environment but also a place where she could grow, learn, and feel completely safe. I am deeply grateful for the love and guidance they have shown our family. Being a single mom that what most important for me.
Our granddaughter has attended ABC Barn for the last year, starting at 2 years old. We were initially impressed by the professionalism of the directors and teachers who had been in their roles for twenty years or more. And we liked what we saw with the big outdoor space: the play structure, bikes and plenty of shade. As we were exploring the school, other parents said "you'll love this place - the teachers are so caring!". And this has been true. We've appreciated the family atmosphere and have seen our granddaughter grow in confidence, friendliness and kindness. We highly recommend this special place.
ABC barn has been fantastic for my twins who did not meet T-K cut off. They try to price conservatively without compromising on quality of care. The director and co-director are completely involved, easy to talk to, and communicate reliably. It feels like a community, rather than a facility, with all teachers becoming regular friendly faces. We have been lucky!
My son has been going to this school for the last few months, and I can already see such positive results with him. His socialization has increased, and he loves going to school. They do different types of learning activities and my son has already built more self-esteem, enjoys arts and crafts, and has made a huge improvement in a short amount of time. Ron and Tanya are such lovely people. I sat with Ron for a few hours upon admission, telling him my fears of my child being in school. I can tell by the interactions with me and his teachers that he truly has passion for what he does. I’ve watched him greet each parent, and it’s such a comfort. I’m so thankful that I found this school, I’m grateful for the support. Alister’s teacher is the best!! Miss Alyzza is friendly, kind, and supportive. She greets my son everyday when he comes in, and I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher for him. It literally makes my heart melt. The other teachers I have interacted with are all welcoming and sweet.Many teachers have told me how much they love my son. I don’t know how we got so lucky. If you’re looking for a safe and fun environment for people who truly care, sign your children up. They have an app, to communicate and send pictures. If I could give this school 10 stars I would.
We love this preschool. Our oldest went several years before going across the street to avocado, now our youngest is going. The staff is great and our daughters love it. We couldn't be happier.
