The infant room teachers are absolutely wonderful. I can tell how much they care about the kids. It’s so hard to leave your little ones, but I knew there was a great team taking care of mine! A big shoutout to Ms. Kay and Ms. Cristina for all they do!
This has been the worst daycare experience I’ve had. My daughter attends part-time, and the center repeatedly mischarged us—$488 for the deposit and first week, then another unexpected $488, then an additional $276. Payments were “lost” because they never explained that their portal doesn’t accept payments, and our balance stayed around $700 with no clear explanation. Both of my children were placed in less advanced classes—my 1-year-old with infants simply because she isn’t walking yet, and my 4-year-old in a class below his level. Neither seems challenged, and they come home very hungry despite the high cost of care and a poor menu. As one of the few African American families there, I did not feel welcomed or treated with empathy. There was constant miscommunication, and I never felt that my children were genuinely cared for—just treated like numbers.
We love working with Abacus! They offer a friendly environment for their students and our staff when we are at there schools taking photos. Their teachers and staff are always loving to the students and kind and helpful to our staff.
We have had a great experience with Abacus Carmel. Our daughter has been in the infant room, and toddler rooms so has really been with a few teachers thus far (Ms Kay, Ms Paris and Ms Stacy). I can't say enough positive things about them. They have been amazing with communication and show real care for the kids. They have left me feeling like I am dropping my daughter off with a family member. I can't get enough of the updates they have sent showing my daughter playing with friends and learning ❤️. I am so thankful we have had such a positive experience with daycare on our first try.
