What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise the YWCA Pre-K Childcare center for its exceptionally friendly and helpful staff members. The facility is noted for its compassionate approach, knowledge, and supportive community environment. Several reviews highlight its role as a resource center serving families in need.
Do not expect them to help in a crisis situation. Everything on their website that I visually able to take in is a lie.
If I could have done zero stars I would. A. Support service? More like stress Service. If I fill out a request for an extension and you ask me for my plans for the next 30 days. .. then the same paper 7 days later? No. Because how 30 becomes 7 is a lie. Debbie Thomas didn't want me to have a say where I would want to move. She decided I had to move to Absarokee. I figured if I was going to suffer emotional abuse.. I would go back to him. At least it's consistent. Knowing our whereabouts? Get a sign in/ out sheet. Solves that. I was told by an advocate (?) when she would let me go to the post office. Now tell me how they help. I wouldn't expect a reply because you have an image to maintain. Debbie Thomas is concerned? Nope. Because I have decided what I felt I had to do and it's not what she wanted. Why didn't I have a say? Forgot.. case management is another term for controlling others
I stopped by today. Cathy was super friendly. And Debbie was super friendly and helpful too. Thank youuuuu!
I tried going there today because I have recently been being abused at home and I found out I was pregnant and I have nowhere else to go and I have kids and dogs and they said they had absolutely no help for me it took her 2 minutes of them not even listening to my story all the way before they shot me down I'n helping me in any way for starting out as something that was a Christian Mission for them to help Abused women I sure didn't take him long to tell me no
While the potential for this center to be exceptional and effective exists, they fail to provide the specialized care young kids may need. Not to say all the staff fail to perform to expectations, in fact there are 2 primary teachers that are excellent but if other staff and transitioning staff that fill in are less so it minimizes the positive experience, consistency, and comfort a center would be expected to provide kids. YWCA Child Center has failed to adhere to their own policies and standards in daily operation and management of the individual children in its programs and perform poorly when working with additional support agencies (STEP, AWARE, etc.) and is not one I would recommend for another child nor are they particularly reliable or communicative.
