We moved to the are recently, and I needed childcare for before and after school and that included swimming as well here. My son was so so scared and didn’t want to go AT ALL cried all the way there!! However once we walked in and he met the staff and we were given the tour and the “low down” on how and what they did; as well as their rules….We were ready to leave and my son asked me if he could start tomorrow!!! That’s how amazing the staff, their love, and the reasonability to reach and meet each and every child at their own level was shown!! And when my son actually started, he absolutely LOVES IT and looks forward to going each and everyday!! This facility and staff are absolutely amazing in all areas!! And they also communicate with on a daily basis!!!
We went to watch our 2 Granddaughter's swim. Lessons over lapped each other by 15 minutes. It was the first lesson of this session. We were able to inside the pool area. It was busy but well organized. People sat apart from each other. There was a sign on the door as we went in to wear our mask.
Gone downhill past several months. Used to be able to lap swim with all lanes available every day in the early morning. No more. Now only 2 hours TOTAL for full lane lap swim ALL week. Get more lifeguards already...
No, I must disagree with a previous review that said the facilities are clean, the facilities aren’t clean at all. I guess people have different standards of clean but I would not call dirt and hair all over the floor “clean facilities”. I would not walk barefoot in here.. if you must use this place (because there’s not much available for open pools) use swim shoes. The pool was pretty cold and the back door was kept open as they brought diving gear inside, so the 1 hour of family swim time that would cost $18 without a membership or $12 with a membership$ (pricey for the condition, health clubs are more reasonable for the year and much more comfort - clean and warm) left a lot to be desired. For a nonprofit, that is nationwide and recieves ample funding, I’m very surprised how run down this place is..
Very, very dirty locker rooms. We got a pass and came back to try it out before spending $ on cards, memberships etc. There was no pool rules published so we found out when we used the pass that we all had to take our street shoes off, even my wife that didn’t get in the pool. She was so disgusted at having to walk on the filthy locker room floor without swim shoes it pretty much ruined the mood. Not sure what the point of rinsing off under a shower really does when bacteria is obviously passed all over the floor. Swimming was ok but the lack of sanitization was very disappointing
