So tired of this place, I've been on rapid rehousing for 7 months now & for 7 months they've been late on rent and utility checks. Program is only 12 months. Ended up on this program for reporting my previous landlord/housing authority whose currently under investigation by Ohio civil rights commission due to what transpired. I've always paid rent on time and they refused my rental payment because they had to pay a hefty fine due to reporting code violations. This program was to help me get back stabilized but I'm more on edge now than I was prior to getting another place being that I was recently laid off from a job I loved. I wasn't going to blast them but 7 months is ridiculous to be continuously late when you get funding from HUD/community development department...I have to constantly try to answer questions that I shouldn't even asked because I've done my part. I'm trying to focus on finding another job but this does not make anything easy...wondering if and how long I'll have a home. Great job folks, great job....just a little emotional distress and breach of contract nothing too major...smh....is anyone else having these issues in the program? Photo attached is 2 months of rent that has not been paid + late fees... laughable right?

YWCA is currently closed it has been closed since 2023 due to the human trafficking and allegation charges from state and federal

This establishment has gone way down hill since whoever took over not to long ago when I was there in 2013/14 it was good to my sister staying there recently the place sucks anymore and that's the truth. Don't get hurt in your room they will leave you there and you will lose your arm and almost die from sepsis that's what happened to my sister

I believe what this place stands for and does to help homeless, helpless,hopeless, and family-less and/or non-supportive friends or family tied woman of all ages and all walks of life and helps them not only hv a roof over there heads for up to 90 days to gv them time to destress, get focused, and encouraged as well giving the ladies the right information and connections to get themselves established in housing, a job, transportation and they try to point the ladies in the right direction to self sufficiency! ☺️

Very appreciative that there are organizations that are helpful to members of the community however I just wish the workers would be a little less disgruntled and More compassionate instead of complacent. The heart of the workers would impact a place as much as the hatred or Lack of Enthusiasm would on on the environment in this sort of structure. I seen they posted for a new head of the women's YWCA , I just hope whoever gets it is compassionate about their job their job unlike so many others that work work for not profit organizations I just hope whoever gets it is compassionate about their job their job unlike so many others that work work for not profit organizations
