Customer service in general is okay. Did a rollover for my spouses retirement. The 1099 R form I received has errors on it. I called to ask, and they acted like I was confused about the numbers. After 3 calls and over 1.5 hours they finally agreed to check with their accounting department. Just received an email that they made an error and will fix it. They should have transfered me right away as the customer service reps clearly had no trailing on retirement tax forms. I recommend doing business with anyone else for your retirement.
Why do high yield savings accounts pay more interest than this fund? Why can’t you take the money contributed on your behalf as part of your salary/comp, and roll it when you leave? Funny how these things aren’t told to you.
Archaic system. Can't even access my account despite waiting 5 days since the last block message at the guidance of the representative. At this point, I'm assuming there is no retirement fund and the YMCA is looking for schemes to pay their worker less.
