My daughter has been here over a year and a half. She loves it! ❤️ the staff are so caring and nice. They spoil them while also teaching them and keeping to the rules which are all about kindness. They do so much with them every day from learning stations, science, and crafts it's remarkable. I 100% would recommend if you want a safe and loving space for your child to grow.
My daughter’s been going here for over a month now and we love it! The teachers are very sweet and she’s excited to go there everyday. The kids are very caring and fond of each other, you can see how close they are and my daughter has made friends of all ages! We absolutely love it here!
Do NOT work here or send your child here. I am getting my degree in early childhood education so that I can be a preschool teacher. I got this job since I figured it would send me in the right direction. Well for one, pretty much every single teaching or discipline strategy were what we were taught to NEVER do. Second, I got fired for simply being sick, which was because of the children! There is also absolutely no security there. Parents or whoever can go in at anytime, grab their child and leave. The doors do not need a special code or anything like most preschools have, so literally anybody can come in and grab a child. Another big problem is whoever took care of the younger kids and changed diapers weren't allowed to prepare lunch for obvious good reasons. HOWEVER, they could prepare breakfast and snacks. That doesn't make sense to me. This was the worst experience of my life and I highly suggest everyone look for a better preschool/daycare.
My daughter went to Young Explorers for about a month. I did not like it at all. When first signing up it seemed great, but after only about a week I hated it and was not comfortable with it. When I walked in no one ever, not once, asked who I was checked which child I was picking up. This never happened morning or night there was no security the check in and out system is terrible. It was this way when her father came and picked her up as well, who the staff had never seen and had no way of knowing he was okay to pick her up. Every time that I came to pick her up or drop her off the teacher was sitting in the corner on her phone or eating. I came at different times each day so it was not just the time of day I came. I never seen them interacting with the children at all. I don't think there was any structure what so ever. I would not suggest sending any child here!
Words cannot express how much I loved this daycare. My kids were here for almost 3 years and the staff treated them like family. We miss this daycare and I recommend anyone who needs a daycare in Pleasant Grove to give them a call.
