Young Days Christian Academy has been such a blessing for our family! Our time here has given us a community of friends and classmates that are highly involved, motivated, and really close. The teachers are incredible, and the school is run like a well-oiled machine! We have had a very positive overall experience after attending multiple years.
Absolutely unprofessional and unethical. My child was signed up to start vpk3 in Feb the prior school year. We had turned all necessary docs in as well as disclose that he had a history of febrile seizures (seizures that happen only when sick) and the head of the school reassured me he was in good hands and welcomed as a student. We had told him many times about starting there and attended the orientation the night before school started in August, which is when I reiterated what to do in an emergency (which ALL CHILD CARE PROVIDERS MUST BE COMPETENT IN DOING) and as a nurse wanted to have open communication with whomever was caring for him. She told me she was not a medical professional, I again said all you need to know is if this were to happen (he had maybe 2 seizures that year) she just needed to call the fire dept across the street. That night (day before first day of school) the director called me and told me my son was not allowed to start due to “his medical issue” and would not tell me if I were going to get my registration fee back. I spent the next week trying to get him enrolled in a different local preschool program and also try to explain to him he wouldn’t be with his best friend who was supposed to be with him at young days. For the next three months the director refused to return my calls and it took my husband who is a lawyer to LEGALLY THREATEN THEM to return our money. I honestly could not believe that this school is “faith-based” after this experience and was appalled by our treatment. Absolute discrimination and unethical business practice
We are so happy at Young Days! It is a wonderful preschool with kind, compassionate teachers and staff who truly care about their students.
Our experience at Young Days Christian Academy was incredible! Both of our kids attended Young Days for preschool and VPK. We could not be more pleased with our decision. The director and teachers are exceptional, and they genuinely care for each student. The school provides a safe environment and welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend this school!
