Fantastic service, my friend from the VA speaks very highly of this company. I went to the VA a few weeks back, and met a driver for the company outside, after the event and he said he enjoyed his job he was" retired military" and he stated that they gave above class service to every veteran. I appreciate companies who serve our brothers in their time of need.

Young at Heart is unique in the range of services they provide and the way in which these services are tailored to individual needs and circumstances. All caregivers are well-trained and personally supervised by Valerie (co-owner), who also does her own assessments and periodic check-ins with clients. YAH is currently providing dementia-sensitive care for my aunt which greatly assists me in my caregiving responsibilities. I have recommended YAH (both center-based and in-home services) to several friends who have all said they can’t thank me enough. Please consider YAH for high quality care at reasonable prices. You will be glad you did!

Young At Heart has been a game changer for us. My husband with Alzheimer’s can’t wait to go! Every day he wakes up and asks me if he’s going to “his place” today! The staff are amazing, and so caring to my husband, but they are also a source of tremendous support for me. Honestly, I cannot believe I found them. If you are considering adult day care, I don’t believe you’ll find a better place anywhere in Chicagoland.The pic below shows a typical day. Making cookies, coloring, and coffee!! He just loves it!

Actually quite disappointed. This had been a five star experience until today. My dad had been going here one or two days a week to socialize and give his caretaker a break. He's seemed to genuinely enjoy it. Today we cancelled his scheduled day because he woke up sick with an uncontrollable cough and runny nose. We were told that he could reschedule this day for another this week, otherwise we'd be charged full price for it. We explained that he has doctors' appointments later in the week and would be at home recovering tomorrow, as he is quite sick, and therefore wouldn't be returning until next week. This was denied, tactlessly, citing a policy in the contract and the cost of prepared food and staff for the day. We were told that if he didn't come this week he would lose his $90 for today. The policy allowed it to be moved within this week, but not to next week. This is penalizing us for doing the right thing and encouraging him to come to the facility while sick for the sake of their $90. Throughout the exchange this morning there were many opportunities to make a reasonable accommodation here (allow him to come on Monday next week instead of insisting it be a day this week), and they were all blown. We are cancelling here and will be looking for a new facility. Edit to reply to owners response: If it was not clear enough, the issue here is that your policy discourages sick people from staying home and in fact makes your facility less safe for everyone by encouraging sick people to come in while they are in fact sick and contagious. Do you also encourage your employees to come to work sick? A reasonable business would appreciate not having all of their customers and staff exposed to a sick patient, however you seem to care more about the $90 that you would lose from him staying home today. So now you'll keep the $90 and lose roughly $10,000 over the course of the next year that we would have been spending by sending him twice a week as planned.

The best decision for our family was having our 99 year old Grandma spend a couple days a week for a couple of hours at Young at Heart. The staff is the best. There are activities every day! She has made friends and is excited to see them eveytime! Thank you Young at Heart!
