Yolanda'S Playhaus & Learning Center

My wife and I moved to Ohio in the beginning of 2023 with no family, just us and our daughter. We were used to having family nearby, and so after the move, it was hard deciding to finally set her up with a childcare provider. After about four months of looking, one of the women who work there reached out to my wife about an opening they had. My wife did a tour and said she fell in love. The atmosphere, the kindness spread throughout the facility, the awesome kids, the understanding and family oriented business, and mainly the structure. We trusted this business and they did not disappoint. I believe God had them in our path for a reason and we cannot thank Yolanda, Ms Brittni, and and everyone who welcomed us and helped us along the way.. We did have some concerns with one of the teachers there, but Ms Brittni, Kynnedi, and Dan were great! We welcomed another bundle of joy on thanksgiving of 2024 and Ms Yolanda and staff were already anticipating our second child’s placement once she was/ we were ready, but we actually had moved out of state in the beginning of this past February and it was tough saying goodbye to the ones who we gained a respectable relationship with and to the ones who genuinely cared for us, our child, and other families as well. Overall, we realized OH wasn’t the environment for us and went on to new beginnings but one thing we were blessed with, was the opportunity to meet these amazing people and our daughter had an opportunity to attend this facility. Thank you Yolanda and staff for all you’ve done. We are so proud of Ms Yolanda for all of her endeavors as well, she doesn’t stop where she’s at! We see you and are rooting for you always!!

The caregivers are incredibly attentive and genuinely invested in each child's development. They take the time to understand individual needs and interests, providing personalized attention that you just can't find in lager centers. The daily activities are well-planned, engaging, and educational, fostering not only play but also meaningful learning experiences. Communication is emphasized with parents. Let you know how they learn and anything that you want to know! That is convenient for me! If you looking for a preschool and toddlers, infants care . I absolutely recommend Yolanda’s Playhaus & Learning Center. As a parent finding a nurturing and safe environment for my kids was their top priority, and this daycare exceeded all you expectations.

Yolanda’s Playhaus and staff have been absolute lifesavers over the last couple of months. Roughly around September of 2023, we decided to move my son from the daycare he has been at since he was a baby to one closer to home. That transition did not go well at all. He started having behavior issues and was sent home constantly. From September to October he was sent home 15 times. I did everything they asked of me and even went in and sat with him to help with the transitions. I was at a loss of what to do. Eventually we decided to remove him from that center, after we found one who claimed they would work with my son and promise to not send him home over little things. Around this same time he was put into therapy for his behavior. My son had been there for a month with no issues. When the behavior started they were very understanding and worked with me. Eventually though, they gave up on him and unenrolled him. His therapist who visited that daycare had said that she thought it was too chaotic for my son there and recommended Yolanda’s Playhaus. She said that it would be the best place for him as it was very calm and they had structure. I visited Yolanda’s prior to this conversation with his therapist and can agree during my visit, all the kids were very calm. The teachers were patient and nice. My son has been enrolled now for about 2 months and it has truly done wonders! My son had a slight speech delay and now we can hold an entire conversation with him. He also had issues with hitting and throwing things and though we still have instances here and there it is rare compared to what we were dealing with! He was seeing his therapist weekly and now we’re down to biweekly because of how well he’s been doing at Yolanda’s! They truly care about my son and his wellbeing and they also care about us as parents. Yolanda could tell I was frustrated and exhausted from having to feel like my son is this terrible kid because that’s how his last two daycares made him out to be. They even include my daughter in things and talk to her as if she is one of their kiddos whenever she comes in with me. I truly appreciate all that Yolanda and her staff have done! I highly recommend enrolling your kiddos!

Let’s just say BEST daycare ever! I have 4 kids that currently attend and been attending since babies , I love everything about them. They actually care and protect the babies! Babies are well fed, diapers always changed , they communication with parents is GREAT! They don’t play about kids being sick. I would not even call it a daycare I’ll say school because they don’t just watch your kids they teach them everything , kids are in uniform , they actually have a graduation as if they were in real school ❤️ make the kids feel special and they treat everyone the same no matter what! I absolutely love this place and the staff 1000/1000 i live in Huber heights and drive to Vandalia everyday just so my kids can have the correct daycare/school experience I highly recommend!!!!!
