Love this place. I started coming a year ago and I should have started sooner! Excellent instructors and staff. It’s a welcoming community of people where you feel encouraged to get in shape.
Only half court basketball, the full court isn’t actually a full court. The 3 point lines don’t go to the corners and there’s no proper out of bounds lines. The main court (which is a proper half court) has a big bump going through the middle. The floor also causes yellow discoloration on your sneakers. However, since the court is so trash, you get access to the other locations for free.
I love that the YMCA offers a variety of things from kid classes, adult classes, open courts and work out stuff. The staff I have encountered so far seems really nice and helpful.
Great location for group classes: Yoga, Zumba, Cross fit, spin & more. Free weight room & treadmills. The Drill Hall has been transformed into an indoor running track with basketball hoops units center. Ping Pong tables. Day care & loads of classes, programs for kids. No showers. Bike racks.
Incredible spot for the community. All the facilities you need, tons of space, friendly and welcoming for everybody. I feel lucky to have access and be a member!
