Ymca Schoolage Enrichment Program At Coffman & Sdc

I had a frustrating experience at the Springboro YMCA this past Sunday. I brought a colleague with me who intended to purchase a guest pass so we could work out together. We were told by a staff member named Janet that guest passes are not sold on Sundays and that my colleague would not be allowed to enter. Because this didn’t sound right, we contacted another local YMCA branch while still there and were informed that guest passes can, in fact, be sold on Sundays. The conflicting information was confusing, and unfortunately the interaction itself felt dismissive rather than helpful. There was no attempt to clarify the policy, check with management, or offer an alternative solution. I value the YMCA’s mission and have had positive experiences before, but this situation felt unwelcoming and inconsistent. I hope the branch can provide clearer communication and more member-friendly service moving forward.

I wrote a review not too long ago but this is a great YMCA amazing gym I love it so much. Who can I call or speak to about filming in the gym? The owner or who can I call? I know there probably rules behind it but I wanna know because I am a content creator and I want to see if I can film my workouts in here. Thank you so much for a great environment in this gym. I've gone to this YMCA for years, ever since we first moved to Ohio. My kids have had great experiences in the child care, there are great fitness classes, the weight room stays clean, everyone has been friendly. One thing I wish they would change- the yearly triathlon. I would participate if it weren't on Mother's Day every year. I enjoy competing in triathlons but also want to sleep in on Mother's Day!

I moved from Englewood to Miamisburg in Aug of 2024. I’ve been trying to find “my” new gym since. I didn’t realize what a task that would be. I tried out three others in the area. Those gyms weren’t terrible but something was missing. The gym has to be the right vibe, size and cost. It has to have the right workout equipment and be clean. YMCA Coffman checks all the boxes and more for me. There is something for everyone here .. CrossFit, strength trainers/body builders, cardio fanatics, swimmers, sports and much more. Everyone I have come across seems friendly and there to better themselves. The gym has been very clean every time I have been and the staff has been super inviting and helpful. They have always greeted me with at least a “Hi” when I walk through the door. The sauna is on my wishlist but maybe they’ll put it in for Christmas ;). Happy to report YMCA Coffman is “MY” new gym . BTW.. pictures online don’t really do the gym justice .

The ladies at the front desk with membership Susan and Janet were very helpful in explaining the YMCA program and membership. The suggestion that I have is the ladies locker room need some updating. The showers have a great deal of mold on the tiles and the showers were not working that day only cold water I'm not sure if that is the case every day. Perhaps looking at updating the ladies locker room maybe taking a look at the men's as well. Thank You
