consider finding a different daycare if you have a child with ADHD or anything other disability that falls under the ADA to be honest. they’re uneducated, under qualified, instead of sending their staff to courses to educate them on children with disabilities or anything for that matter. they’ll just basically say “welp that sucks for you, you have to come get your child” they’ve performed many many violations of the ADA Act at the YMCA and have done nothing but provoked my ADHD child, dictating and treating him like a prisoner instead of teaching, showing, and understanding. i’ll be making a few calls in the next few days and we’ll see what comes of this.
Honestly frustrated. They list after hours gym hours and say “use the side door.” GIRL. What side door? You would think they would advertise the door to use for after hours better… no idea how to get in. Called and spoke with an employee who was no help either. :( Edit: I super appreciate the response the from Y and look forward to seeing better signage for the after hours gym!
Please consider adding many more seating options for parents there (Fargo location) to watch their kids' sports and activities programming. I have ended up sitting on the dirty floor of the lobby a few times as seating is sparse, and parents of the younger kids are told to stay in the building while sports are happening. Thanks!
It's a gym. It's hard to get excited about a gym. The hours are reasonable, though not 24. The equipment is clean and well maintained, when something breaks it gets fixed in a fair amount of time. It has a decent variety of equipment if you know what you are looking for. Staff is friendly and unobtrusive. Facility is clean, sterilizing wipes and hand sanitizer are refilled regularly and fresh towels are always present. Go here if you want to be left alone at the gym, and have a peaceful experience
The gym is fine, but if you quit, make sure you do it before the 13th. Otherwise, they charge an extra month, then act like you need a reason to leave... even though it's none of their business. Oh, and you have to go in to sign the papers, even though you can sign up online
