The people at the welcome desk are always in a good mood. They have been very patient and helpful as I've learned how to navigate the Y. The app is useful, but it would be nice if swimming could be measured in laps. The locker rooms are tidy. And the pool is excellent.
opens late and close early… any inclement weather makes in close all week it seems..if you don’t lift midday go somewhere else unless you have a family..staff and atmosphere nice though!
New member...and I am so happy that I finally joined the YMCA. It is an unbelievable value if you utilize all or even just some of what it has to offer. It has been wonderful for my whole family so far, and we appreciate all of the help we have received from staff. Everyone, staff or guest, that I have encountered has been just so friendly and helpful. I highly encourage coming and checking it out in person if you are on the fence.
I wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for Erin Reiley. She has been exceptionally helpful and kind. She is patient and takes the time to answer my questions thoroughly. Erin's positive attitude and willingness to assist make a real difference, and I feel grateful for her support. She truly makes the experience at the gym much more pleasant!
Only local gym (besides Gold's) that has Olympic-Style lifting equipment AND a dumbbell section that goes well beyond 100lbs per dumbbell. The weight room (wellness area) is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Staff are pleasant and professional. Oh yeah, if you wanna really get into working out, THIS is the place to go. And they even have a variety of different size tires out back that you can flip until your heart's content. Their classes are excellent. They have childcare, a BIG swimming pool that is handicapped-accessible, and a hot tub too...I could go on and on but it'd be better if y'all just go see for yourselves... Great Job KG YMCA! Y'all are awesome.
