Ymca Of Greater Pittsburgh/Baierl Family Y

To me, this place has gone down significantly in terms of price-to-quality. One thing that drew me to this Y is its good location, but also the affordability. I don't come here for most of the year because I'm a college student but every time I wanted to come here for either a week or for four months, they were always very helpful and easy to work with. I came back for Thanksgiving break and found out that they slashed the weekly pass (which was very affordable for me) and upped the cost of a daily pass. I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning in the future.

This is my first YMCA experience and I have to say that it’s a very positive one. I was really apprehensive to sign up because of some of the bad reviews that I saw on here, but I’m glad that I did. The staff is incredibly friendly. The facilities are very clean, and I use this Y almost every day. It’s the typical price of a gym membership. I have had to speak to them on separate occasions to better understand my account and the facilities. They have always been very friendly and very customer service oriented.

This place is amazing! I can practice my swim laps without bother, the swim instructors are motivating and helpful, and the life guards are very kind! I don’t think anyone should have a problem here! Otherwise, it’s just selective attention. A perfect 5 stars!

I visited the place to determine what it would cost me to join. The person I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. After confirming my membership cost they offered to give me a tour of the facility, which I did.

Where to begin?!?! This has been the best athletic club experience is our lives. The individuals who work at the Y, the instructors, the array of classes, and the fellow Y members make the Baierl YMCA top notch. The physical plant is also state of the art despite not being brand new. Thank you for many years of wonderful fellowship.
