Ymca Of Greater Londonderry @ Chester Academy

My two boys (5 & 4) both attend the YMCA - one does the Kindergarten wrap around program - he loves taking the bus to the Y and spending time with friends and says all of his teachers, we hear alot about Miss Erin, are so much fun and nice to him! My 4 year old had a tough transition from another school but his pre k teachers (Miss Sara and Miss Dahli) have been nothing but amazing to help him get adjusted, they are both so kind and caring and he now tells me all about his day and how much fun hes having! I love how they spend as much time outside as they can! Everyone at check in and check out is super friendly and they truly make you feel at home. Im so glad we joined the YMCA and we appreciate everyone who works there and keeps our boys safe and having fun!

Our family is very happy and pleased with choosing YMCA Londonderry for Pre-K. The nature’s playground and pool is a win for this location. The biggest win is the Staff and Teachers! We had a couple concerns at the beginning of the year, however, The head Director of the ELC Ms. Deb and staff have put great efforts to improve the center with clear communication and solutions. Ms. Christine, the director of ELC is also making waves of amazing change for the littles and fun family events that happen often! Ms. Sarah is the Pre-K teacher. She has a big heart with positive reinforcement language that inspired me to add to my parenting skills to use at home. It’s well balanced with play and structured learning. The Staff is great at updating my husband and i with photos/videos throughout the day which gives us a kick of motivation. The growth, the respect, the confidence, and the added values of community— our girl is ready for kindergarten! Thank you 🙏🏽 The last thing i’d love to see improve— its bonkers to see that rockingham rd has a speed limit of 40mph with 2 daycares on the street, (which we know cars are not doing the limit) the town needs to work on this as its worrisome to pull in or out of the school with cars and 16 wheelers flying by. However the play area and school is set back from the roads- it’s really the driving in and out. Biggest suggestion — signal early when pulling into the center. Other than that we are sooo grateful for the staff and teachers!

I have a five year old and a three year old. We’ve been doing the daycare dance in and around Manchester for a while now. This facility is hands down the best facility we’ve utilized. My three year old is excited to go to “school” now. The curriculum is advanced and the staff is very knowledgeable and professional. My kids love them. They have a pool and teach your kids to swim too!

The Londonderry YMCA has been amazing, from the lovely ladies who greet us at check in to the finance coordinator Michelle, and her amazing teachers Miss Sarah and Miss Kaitlyn. My daughter began school there this past fall and has Miss Sarah in PreK and she has helped my daughter feel safe and comfortable and love school. She goes above and beyond with learning through play and fostering the kiddos Independence along with the projects that get sent home and fun themed days at school. She sends daily pictures and updates which is a highlight of my day. Her assistant teacher Miss Kaitlyn has been so kind and helpful as well, she is so gentle and loving with the kids. Overall, this is my daughter’s first school experience and they have helped not only her but me feel super comfortable and welcome. I truly cannot say enough and highly recommend them!

My son has been going to the YMCA for almost a year and a half in their Early Learning Center between preschool and pre-k. He loves the staff there and loves his friends there and always has so much fun! He also had a blast in the summer when there are so many more activities to do as well as taking swim lessons at their outdoor pool. We are so happy that the Londonderry YMCA started the early learning center program just in time for him as we were always hoping to have him there for their wrap around programs with Moose Hill!
