Hands down one of the worst gym experiences I've had. I've been going consistently for the last year or two as the location is convenient and close. Staff are consistently unwelcoming, distracted, and unhelpful. Zero professionalism, zero hospitality. As you walk in you feel like an inconvenience instead of a member, when an issue arises, there is no guidance, friendliness, or help at all. Even after the renovation the equipment variety is extremely limited, the layout of everything is horrid covering big mirrors with unnecessary machines. The atmosphere is uncomfortable, there are many encounters of multiple rude, inconsiderate people with no staff presence to manage behavior or enforce gym etiquette. On top of that, recently been having items stolen periodically. This is unacceptable for a fitness facility, clearly a lack of security and accountability, which makes it impossible to feel safe in the facility anymore. Additionally, when trying to resolve that issue checking cameras or any leads, they are reluctant to do anything about it, and send you on your way out. This place has completely lost what YMCA is supposed to represent, I wouldn't recommend anyone looking for a welcoming, safe or gym experience to sign up and pay this hefty fee of 36-43$. I will never return to this specific location and find a different gym.

I recently joined and have had a great experience! Indy, Davan,Eona and Alana are very welcoming and kind! Indy walked me through my registration with great input and help along with Davan, Eona, and Alana. I attended my first class today and was humbled! Inez gave me a great challenge in the spin class! Great music and choreography! I got an excellent workout! Patricia B. saw me struggling with setting up the bike. She jumped in and helped me get into a proper and safe position. Patricia B. gave me a tremendous amount of much needed help to change gears and learn the call out changes. She checked in on me to take it easy when I was struggling. Patricia was my angel that day! I also appreciated the warm up and cool down especially stretching afterwards, off the bike. Responsible fitness is crucial. I am a therapist who often deals with exercise injuries, so I have a deeper appreciation of the importance of it. When I left class, Indy was thereand greeted me with a smile and encouragement! The gym is clean and well maintained with alot to offer. I saw the sneaker recycle donation box and it made me feel good to see the community support here, too! I enjoy the vibe here!

The close the gym at 1:45 despite the fact the website hours says 2pm on Sumday. I have gone to other YMCA's and they don't close 15 minutes early.

I stopped in a few times while visiting family in Boston. The facilities are great and include plenty of options for everyone including some powerlifting and boxing equipment. The staff are also very friendly. I stopped in today around 10:30AM and the staff at the front desk were very helpful and incredibly nice and professional. This gym experience is just another example of why the YMCA is such a great membership!

The woman at the front desk was very unwelcoming and rude on Sunday. Tried to get in after buying a membership and was told to leave because the membership would not be active until after 24 hrs if done online. Went back he second time and after pursuing it again, the card worked and I was let in. Had the same thing happen to an old man before me. He paid, but since there was nothing in the computer, he was told that he's lying. Once I was done with my workout, the lady was adjusting the doors and holding one of them and as I was leaving, she let go of the door and the door slammed into my hand with its metal protrusion. Please work on training the staff to be more welcoming and willing to help or at least not be rude and hold grudges
